Blank kitchen

Posted 06-Jul-2016
NOTHING in the kitchen, not even a fork or knife. What good is a kitchen without pots and pans. I even ask for an iron and couldn't get it. It could have been a nice stay but booking a "full ed stocked" kitchenette and having nothing mess up the whole trip. We had people who needed "special " food due to medical problems. If the rooms don't have what's needed then don't advertise they do!!!! Sad, it could have been a nice trip.

Nothing really special for a 2 star hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful though.

Inexpensive

Posted 16-May-2016
Pros: The price
Cons: Old tv's, really lame channel lineup
Location: Close to Lakewood and I-5.
Was cheap and had a decent location for what I was looking to do. TV was old and channels were limited. Internet wasn't very fast, but it worked. Room was small, kitchen was a nice feature, but didn't use it. Considering the price, a good deal.

Nice Stay

Posted 10-May-2016
Pros: Comfortable room
Cons: The cable service needs to be switched from (dish network). There is never anything to watch.
Location: Close to I-5, JBLM, minutes to food and surrounding vicinities for shopping & entertainment.
Very comfortable room, courteous staff, clean grounds.

Noisy neighbors !

Posted 07-May-2016
Check in was quick and simple. I booked nights , unfortunately I was unable to sleep do to excessive noise from other guests. By 4am I collected my thing , went down to check out. Young man at desk was unable or unwilling to refund or credit me for the room. Was told to return to speak with day managers. Which was not possible for me. I do not recommend staying at that hotel if are looking a quiet night sleep. However I you are looking for a place to party , management seems to turn a deaf ear to noise.

Yikes!

Posted 06-Apr-2016 on Hotels
So many people smoking next to the hotel, it could have floated away on a cloud of nicotine. The clerk was smoking outside the front door. The general vicinity absolutely reeked. The entry stair way was filthy with discarded clothing, food wrappers, garbage and cig butts. At least three vehicles in the parking lot had duct tape-plastic covered car windows as if they had been broken into. My windshield had a brand new impact point chip exactly centered at the drivers eye level. Looks like the chip was from a pellet or bb-gun gun. The bed side light was broken and the exit stairway door was missing the door handle. At night the place sounded like a party in the Animal House movie.

Stay Away From Crossland, Tacoma!

Posted 04-Apr-2016 on Hotels
We got in late, and apparently the hotel was overbooked. Our 2-bed room was not available so they gave us 2 rooms instead. One room was dirty in places. At least 20-30 people were loitering loudly in the parking lots until well after 1am, with management being totally indifferent. Trash everywhere. We stayed here 2 years ago, but the facility has degenerated into a low life, hooker haven. Never again!
