Nice hotel if you want to be in Sun Peaks
We were looking for an overnight stop on the way from Jasper to Vancouver island, and Sun Peaks seemed to fit the bill on the tiny map shown by the search provider.
It's about 20 miles off the main road, and Sun Peaks is a fake mountain village. It's probably fine if you go for a few days skiing and are in the mood, but soulless in late July, and the "Summer Patio Party" just encourages the groups of mountain bikers to revel noisily into the small hours.
The above seems grumpy, but there's nothing wrong with the hotel itself if Sun Peaks is the location you actually want. For us Kamloops would have saved 40+ miles of pointless winding road driving.
