I am sorry your stay had these challenges within the room. Many of our guests enjoy the extra space the Murphy bed configuration gives tot he room, but it most certainly should have been found clean and ready to use. We will follow up with our team. Regards, Sundance Lodge.

All of our rooms have a unique layout, and in the winter during longer stays, the murphy bed can be a big bonus to those who require a little more living space. I do apologize this was not what you were expecting in your room.

Our front desk team are always here to help with any issues that may arise in the rooms, please inform us and we will get our maintenance department on the issue ASAP! For the safety of our team and guests we have limited contact points for our housekeepers. That being said, this should have been relayed to you at check-in, and the option for fresh towels or item replenishments offered as well. Unfortunately, our keys can be a little tricky. Most of the times they get near a phone and that demagnetizes them. We completely understand the frustration with needing to have them reprogrammed and apologies for the inconvenience.
