A good place to stay, a little noisy.

Posted 06-Oct-2016
Pros: Hot tub/pool area and rooms
Cons: Noisy and restaurant food wasn't the best.
Location: It is close to interstate, grocery stores, Starbucks, and just 5 blocks from downtown.
Was pretty pleased with our stay here for three nights. The only complains was noise from other travelers slamming doors at 4:30am and our room being right by vending machine and ice machine. The rooms were clean, the hot tub was nice to sit in after a hike. The restaurant was priced high for the food we received. The staff was nice and easily accessible from the interstate.

Nice hotel midway between Denver and Grand Junctio

Needed a hotel to stay at while traveling between work sites. This hotel was reasonably priced, clean and far enough away from the traffic of Breckenridge to be easy to deal with.

Great location in the Colorado mountains

Posted 27-Sep-2016
Pros: The location.
Cons: Customer service and comfort of accommodations.
Location: Close to I 70 and Breckinridge.
Accommodations were disappointing. An unfriendly clerk greeted us as we tried to check in at 3:00 P.M. He responded that they had a busy night the night before and they had no rooms ready to come back after 4:00 After we protested he was able to find a room available. When we went to the room the smoke detector was beeping so we had to be moved to another room. When we tried to turn on the heat we only got cold air and had to spend the night sleeping in jackets. To top off the experience as we tried to shower we only got lukewarm water. What we came away with from this experience is that just because it is a Holiday Inn Express you cannot assume it will be suitable accommodations.

The room we originally checked into was not cleaned by housekeeping. They remedied that and gave a different room, however, there was NO hot water. We had been hiking all day, and a shower would have been nice. Upon checkout, we told the front desk and she didn't even acknowledge the complaint. A simple sorry would have been better than nothing she gave. She checked us out of the wrong room and then tried to blame us for her mistake. We won't be visiting this hotel again.

Holiday Inn

Posted 20-Sep-2016
Pros: Convenient, loved that you could open the windows and get the fresh mountain air!!!
Cons: Lighting, fix bathroom switches, musty smell
Location: Dillon & Frisco : hiking, biking, shopping, love the area. water sports also.
Super efficient staff. Very kind and accomodating. There were three of us staying and we only had one bed. Quickly gave us another room. Most Holiday Inn's have free breakfasts, this one did not. The room smelled musty and there was mold on all the grout in the shower. The hair dryer was coming literally off the wall and did not work. I called and they quickly brought me one. We found out the "switch" did not work and I had to dry my hair by the desk etc. A little inconvenient with no mirror. The bed was comfortable, however the musty smell was there. Lighting was dim as well. We were staying for only the weekend and literally were never in the room except to sleep, so for the price I guess it was ok.

Perfect hotel in ski town

Posted 17-Sep-2016
We stayed here as a stop during our cross country trip. We arrived late and the front desk employee was extremely nice and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hallways felt more outdated than the rooms themselves but this was not bothersome at all. Would stay here again!

Friendly staff, clean rooms and overall hotel. Would have liked more breakfast options but happy that we were able to get jalapeños.
