Left us stranded
Upon arriving to this "pet friendly" hotel, we were turned away because they had no pet friendly rooms available. Meanwhile we had just flew in from SC with our dog in tow. The reservation was made months in advance. There was no place on the reservation where you would indicate if you had a pet or not. We based our reservation solely because they advertised "pet friendly ". The staff did not care that we had no place to stay all they would do is say, we will not charge you for a canceled reservation. Fortunately, we were able to contact Expedia, whose staff was more than professional finding us another location close by. It unfortunately end up costing more than we expected but we did not have much choice.
