Hotel off I-70

Posted 27-Aug-2015
Pros: Nice facility, friendly staff, good location.
Cons: I hope they fixed that shower before letting anyone else stay there. You always need to check over everything before setting up camp.
Location: Frisco Bay has many amenities like canoeing, boating, paddle boarding, and more. The downtown Frisco area is adorable.
The hotel was great except for one thing. The shower had a putrid smell that was made worse by our showering. The water did not drain properly and by the time we realized the problem, we were not in a state to move. We shut the bathroom door and left to go out for dinner. Should have notified staff but was trying to just get through it. At check out notified the staff. Not sure that they even believed me but entering that bathroom - no one could ignore the stench.

Quick access to I-70, good value

Posted 22-Aug-2015
Pros: Cozy mountain lodge lobby, welcoming Reception Staff, accepts pets
Cons: I had to use crutches and therefore had to pay close attention to the floor on ground level. Perhaps a more frequent vacuum in the hight traffic areas
Location: Take a Water Taxi on Dillon Lake, Marina just 5 minutes away
Solo stay, one night. Roomy King size.. clean feel to room, fresh, soft linen. Next to busy highway, but no traffic noise inside.

Nice hotel in fabulous town

Posted 19-Aug-2015
Pros: I lighted the unusual carpeting in the hall, the fantastic shower head and multiple choices for lighting the room.
Cons: Although there were multiple hot and cold food choices, the hot food was not hot by the time we ate.
Location: About 1 hour west of Denver. One exit from an outlet mall. Skiing, white water rafting, ziplining, boating and trails were near by.
Nice hotel - clean, nice decor, excellent shower and lighting. Room had a refrigerator which we took advantage. It is conveniently with easy access on and off the highway. Price was very reasonable. I would choose this hotel again when staying in Frisco.

Convenient

Posted 18-Aug-2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Room A/C.
Location: Ride the ski lifts to the top in the summer, enjoy lunch with a view. Take in the events at the Dillon amphitheatre. Catch a sailboat from the marina
The hotel is right off the interstate, and in a central location to most attractions. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the grounds/pool and hot tub were well tended. We didn't read the special room A/C instructions, like we should have, the first night was too hot for me to sleep, but hubby slumbered blissfully. After reading the instructions, it was cool and comfortable the next night. Affordable, convenient, pleasant. We will come back.

Poor Choice

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Our experience was not that great here. We got there and had to wait an hour for our room because the housekeeping staff was behind. Our bathtub wouldn't drain and our air conditioner quit working in the middle of the night. The shower curtain didn't fit quite right so if you showered the floor got soaked.

Good rates

Posted 09-Aug-2015
Pros: Pool and free breakfast.
Cons: Room air conditioning
Location: Biking, hiking, Dillon Lake, Outlet stores in Silverthorne
Our family stayed here for one night on our summer vacation. The indoor pool was nice sized & the kids swam several times. The hot tub was the best on our vacation and had good jets. The breakfast had a good selection of food: waffles, bacon, sausage, tater tots, French toast, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only shopping within walking range was a Wal-Mart but there was a restaurant on site and other restaurants nearby. Some of the kids did rent bikes next door for a decent price and used the bike trails by Dillon Lake. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning kept shutting off and we had to restart it constantly so our room was not cool enough for us.
