beautiful setting
The hotel is about to close down for 18 months for major refurb. by Warners. It is very tired and not very clean, but the staff were friendly and doing their best in difficult circumstances. The breakfasts were very good and the public rooms were very grand. All set in lovely parkland.

We arrived at the studley castle hotel outside is stunning with beautiful surroundings. When entered in side was met by 1 member of staff who gave room key and directions. No other staff was seen. Breakfast was good a nice man served us whilst giving history of the hotel. We stayed for 2 nights our bed was not made after 1st night and no cleaning staff seen. Overall the hotel was lovely and the history. Easy to get to places nearby.

Lovely hotel very friendly
The hotel is a little run down in some areas but the staff are really friendly and helpful and the cleanliness was excellent. The food in the bar was delicious, unfortunately the restaurant was closed so didnt get to sample the menu. Breakfast was a very varied buffet and the quality of the food was excellent. All round a very pleasant stay.

Stay away until the renovation by Warner!
Staff were helpful BUT after being told room maybe tired we were disgusted at the state of the bed and couldn't even see through windows, we were offered a further 2 rooms. Please don't book you WILL be disappointed!
