Older hotel but nice

Posted 29-Apr-2016
You can tell it's an older hotel but it's still really nice, clean, and quaint. I'll be returning soon!

Squeaky Bed, Terrible Internet Connection/Too Slow

Posted 23-Feb-2016 on Orbitz
The bed was very rough and squeaked. Absolutely pathetic Internet service. Had to return steak dinner, or best said "the cardboard." You either got really hot water in the basin, or totally cold. I wouldn't suggest anyone stay at this hotel unless it was your absolute only choice, and then I'd contemplate sleeping in your car!

Odd, but sufficient

Posted 21-Jan-2016 on Hotels
My family and I stayed one night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. There were a few parties going on that evening in there conference/reception rooms. So, there was loud music until close to midnight. The hotel itself is very dated and could use repairs. Example, in the hall leading to our room there were huge holes in the ceiling where duct work might have been... they were covered by boards. There were MANY odd things about this hotel and room. There was a redundant and non-functioning tv in the bathroom. There is one ice machine, located on the 1st floor under the stairs... Picture Harry Potter's room. The bed we slept in was concave. But the room was clean and the staff was nice and it was only one night. For the rate, it was fine.

Not a bad hotel

Posted 17-Jan-2016
Got the non- smoking king size room, first thing when opening the door was its a small room. I did notice the 2 queen size was larger. Also the hallway on the second floor drywall panels were covering holes in the wall where they replaced piping, not very appealing. But overall not a bad hotel. Free parking was a plus and free wifi. I would stay there again, just not in that small king size.
