"The Standard is easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The thoughtfully designed property is full of surprises around every corner. The library/lounge, bar and beer garden, rooftop area, and the Banksy artwork are just a few of my favorite features. The terrace suite was spacious and I loved the nook with the cushy leather couches and dining area. The view of the city was great and the balcony tub was also a great feature. Lastly, the staff were kind and helpful, especially the upbeat...

"Spacious room comfortable bed room needs a bit of TLC and shower in the bath is a bit dated. Great location with two good restaurants we enjoyed the stay and would book again. "

"Lovely, grand hotel with modern amenities. Our suite was specious and well appointed. Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great with separate shower and tub. Russel Square tube line was a few short steps away and there are several places nearby for breakfast options. Not much nightlife here, but that was fine as it was easy to get to and still quiet for rest. I recommend!"
