A bit further, but worth the drive are Taquamenon Falls, Oswald Bear Ranch, Pictured Rock National Lakeshore and Sault Ste. Marie. This home is also in the perfect location to stage your snowmobile trip being only a short ride to the trails which connect all of the UP. Great Vacation
There were 10 people in our party -- 6 adults and 4 kids (7 - 15) Everyone raved about this house. The location, the games (board and video), 2 refrigerators, ice maker, kayaks, barbecue -- this house had everything. Christine gave excellent check-in directions and answered any questions very promptly. We can't wait to return.

Had a family reunion at this gorgeous lake property. The house is fabulous for a large group. Enough bedrooms and other space to mingle. Very nice location close enough to the town on one side and a beautiful sandy beach on the other. Nice backyard for kayak launch and to watch sunset. The telescope in a the large window was a nice touch. The house is secluded enough so no traffic noise. Since we had about 17 people a fourth bathroom would have been nice but other than that this house was excellent! The host responded very quickly for all my questions. Overall two thumbs up!

An Amazing Spot
We loved every minute of our time staying here in late June/early July. The house was clean, the lot was big enough to handle our two dogs and 4 kids, and the views were amazing. The location was ideal for us since we wanted to make it our “home base” while traveling a bit through the Upper Peninsula. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

An amazing house
The house is way bigger than you expect i’ll tell you that!! Everything was clean and neat. The kayaks were an extra that my family loved to get great pictures right in the sunset. They have many games for kids and adults. They provide you with everything you need.

Perfect place!
This rental was the perfect setting for a large family gathering! From the lake views and sunsets, to the expansive room. Our group of 13 had plenty of space. Very large kitchen, that was well equipped for a large group. We never once said, I wish they jad this or that. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the property offered us privacy. The house was very clean and comfortable. We were all able to have dinner together at the main dining table. The firepit, shuffleboard and game table were a huge hit with our group as well as the kayaks. Only 10 minutes from grocery store and ferry to the island. The host made all instructions clear and was very responsive! We were completely satisfied with our stay. We were celebrating our parents 60th wedding Anniversary and this was an amazing rental. Thank you Christine for making our stay so enjoyable!

St. Ignace Beauty
The property was actually far more beautiful than the pictures suggested. Everything was so well organized. We all enjoyed the signs explaining how things worked, especially the bathrooms and the light switches. The back yard is undersold in the photos. We had plans in Mackinac for a fancy dinner and unanimously decided we would rather be back at the property enjoying the amenities--firepit, kayaks, sound of the waves, and the incredible sunset views. The property manager made the entire stay perfect--responding very quickly to any questions we had. Our only complaint was wishing we had more time at the property! I would definitely consider making this an annual family vacation!

The house was awesome!
Our family gets together every year and this trip was up there as far as accommodations. Clean, easy access, and quaint neighborhood. Also owner was easy to communicate with-so thanks! Home was fully stocked with everything you would need and check out process was excellent! (Loved not having to stop beds!) Home was big and beautiful! I would highly recommend staying here as it’s super comfortable. ❤️

FANTASTIC home
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The owners were very quick to respond. The fire detectors were beeping and they had someone come immediately and take care of the problem. The mayflies were a an issue. The house exterior and patios and porches were completely covered. We tried to clean them off, but really were not able to use the outdoor area except to move the chairs down into the grass which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting closer to the water and around the fire pit. I don’t know if it is possible to spray for mayflies? Unfortunately, several of us became ill with a severe stomach bug which interrupted our stay. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need for a fabulous get away. It sits directly on the waterfront. We also like the fact that the house sits back off of the road. It was very relaxing and wonderful place to spend a week.

This house has it all! Great layout to accommodate a large group like ours. There are tons of things to do that come with the house - kayaking, cornhole, basketball, old school video games, board games and a great fire pit by the shore. We had a great time!!

This property deserves 10 stars! Located on a large secluded and quiet lot off a little used road perfect for a walk or a jog, the house offers a panoramic view of the lake with extensive lakefront perfect for launching our kayaks and paddle boards. We set up a number of lawn games and enjoyed a campfire on the expansive lawn. The classy modern interior boasts a large well-appointed kitchen including a much appreciated double oven and extra refrigerator and ice maker in the garage. There was ample seating inside and on the lovely patio for our large family, which including those who stayed at a nearby cottage, totaled 21. The great room was also large with plenty of comfortable seating. Upstairs were two bedroom wings. A cute bunk room, best suited for children under 12, worked well for 3 of our younger grandchildren. Access to the deluxe bathroom on this wing was through the very large master bedroom. The location was perfect for day trips to the Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, and of course, Mackinac Island. The property was impeccably clean and Christine was prompt and helpful in answering our questions. This was a wonderful place for 3 generations to celebrate 55 years of marriage and 2 high school graduates.

We had 10 of us, Our grandkids son and daughter in law and my husband and I. There was a ton of room for us to gather and play and eat together and lots of spaces for us to separate for alone time too! Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus !!

A great family gathering.
We are a family of 18, eight adults and 10 grandchildren. This is a large, lovely home set on the shores of lake Michigan, which is right out your door. There is a lovely yard with a firepit. A large deck with chairs and a grill. Unfortunately the weather was very windy and we did not get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. They have a basketball hoop which our grandchildren enjoyed and were able to burn off some energy. The house is in two sections. The living room area which has a lot of seating, a tv and a gas stove. Very nice with the cold wind outside. There are two bedrooms and a full bath off of this area. Then there is the large kitchen area. There is a bedroom, laundry room and full bath off of that. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a full bathroom. That is the only bathroom upstairs. It has a futon in the room that our 7 year old grandson slept on. There is also another bedroom and off of that is the room with 2 bunkbeds, so sleeps 4. It worked for our grandkids under 12. You do need to go through the one bedroom to get to this room. We are all family so it worked for us. The kitchen has a huge island. The kitchen has plenty of plates, utensils, and cookware for a family our size. Everything was in good working order and very clean. Actually everything looked very new and it was decorated very tastefully. The beds slept great with very nice bedding. Plenty of towels. Gorgeous views out of many windows. The grocery store is about 10 minutes away. One day we went to the Soo Locks, about an hour away. Also close to the ferries to Mackinac island. Christine was always very quick to respond to any questions I had. Good information was laid out about how certain things worked. Many light switches labeled. A nice touch. We had a great time with our family and only wish that we could have stayed another day. Thank you for your hospitality. Hopefully we can return.

Amazing House!
This was an amazing house to spend the weekend at! There were 12 of us and this house had plenty of room for all of us. Everything was very clean and well kept. Great views of the lake. The kids loved the shuffle board and the kayaks. Very short drive to Mackinac City and to the ferries in St Ignace, which by the way had much shorter wait times. Christine was very quick to reply to messages as well. I would highly recommend this house!
