"Great value for money and a comfortable bed"

"There was some confusion during check-in regarding our booking for three separate rooms, with guests arriving at different times. Initially, we were all given keys to the same room, and concerns were then raised about the number of occupants, as it didn’t seem clear that we were meant to be in different rooms. We were also asked to reconfirm our booking details a few times, which took a little while to resolve. It appeared to be a misunderstanding, but it did make what should have been a straightforward check-in more complicated than expected, and at times it felt like the confusion was attributed to us which set our weekend off on a poor note. That said, the hotel overall suited our needs well. The location was convenient, and the rooms were comfortable. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning in the rooms."

"Lovely hotel, clean and bright, staff were friendly, shower was a bit of a let down, but only thing I could fault. Area was really near to Camden lock/market/pubs and clubs, a 20 minute walk to venue we were going to, but could hop on the 29 bus for a couple of stops either way if walking is difficult. Once in the hotel the area was also pretty quiet unlike other places we've stayed around London. We would definitely book again if going to gigs in and around Camden"

"I won’t be going to this hotel or any other holiday inn express again because of this hotel room. I’m surprised holiday inn want to put their name to these kind of hotels as I’ve stayed in normal holiday inns and they have all been lovely. The hotel staff were nice and the food was ok. BUT our room was actually disgusting!! The walls, floors and base of the bed were filthy! It looked like someone had been sick down the side of the bed!! There was a sofa bed in the room which was also dirty and the chair provided was disgusting with dirt and stains all over it!! The tv was broke!! Mold marks all round the base of the shower! The room was freezing and felt like there was draft and sound coming through even when window was closed. The heater didn’t work, just blew cold air out of it! I’m glad we had only booked one night to stay here! Like I say the staff were nice and pleasant. And the food was ok but our actual room where we had to spend our time and sleep in was awful. There was also no main light in the room and one of the bedside lights didn’t work, so was dark and cold and dirty! Overall awful! Only didn’t give the lowest I could because of the nice staff and ok food."
