Hotels with Balcony in Southampton, England

poor signage, slow lifts, not offered room with bath

What is point of having a magnificent balcony and view from room if there is no mini-bar ???????? At breakfast tables left uncleared. When we were looking for a table restaurant only 25% full but only two tables free - rest uncleared - disgusting !!!!

great space and kitchen w fridge freezer parking available, a bit noisy due to being on main road, could do with tea/coffee facilities apart from the kettle (some teabags/coffee sachets). TV can be updated. Overall a very nice comfortable stay!

Maybe air conditioning in rooms because it was very warm and better times for families to use the swimming pool but everything else was good

Characterful building, nice location with walks from the hotel. Lots of dogs downstairs too.

Pleasant grounds which are well maintained. Staff helpful.

Nice large clean family room. Nice setting. We were worried it might be noisy because they had a wedding on. Did not hear a thing. It was lovely. We had the widows open as it was warm. The hotel is set back from the road and it was great.

The hotel is a bit worn and shabby, but okay if all you want is an overnight stay before cruising from Southampton. Our double room was tiny and cramped. The bed was comfortable. Lovely old pub with lots of history and good food. Only negative was the room hadn’t been vacuumed or dusted very well as there was lots of cobwebs
