This hotel is nice and clean, staff are friendly and polite, the room was excellent clean, I had to cut the weekend short because I come unwell and decided to go home I didn’t want anyone else to get it and spoil there stay .

A grand hotel

The room was very comfortable and the hotel is in a beautiful setting. The staff are friendly and the place is dog friendly. The breakfast was amazing.

Lovely hotel set in spacious and decorative grounds. I have stayed her once before and parking became awkward after 7pm. Very nice room with a good spec. Shower was ok but the shower heads had seen better days and there was noticeable mould on the tile grouting. The night's sleep was not very comfortable but I woke up to get a fantastic breakfast from the buffet available. The hotel guests have access to a small but well-equipped gym and had plenty of nearby options for dining.

Lovely stay

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The room was very warm (opened the windows) and a little noisy (presumably due to ventilation or pipework). The bar area is lovely, staff friendly, approachable and very helpful and breakfast was brilliant - everything was really fresh and tasty

The place is gorgeous from the outside and even better when you walk into the bar area. Food was quick and lovely (I ate from the bar menu) and everything was great value. You genuinely feel like they are under charging for how nice it is.

We had a 2 night stay. The hotel and our room was very clean. Friendly staff. Unfortunately our sleep was disturbed on the first night at 01.30hrs by a female group who had obviously been out partying.

Convenient stop before embarking from Southampton

Comfortable room with adequate facilities. Room was a bit cold to start with as there was no heating on, despite winter weather. Heating was by direct electric panel heater so was reasonably quick to act. Set 3 course evening meal was OK but not great value. Breakfast good. We may well use this hotel again.
