The homemade breakfast was also excellent. The building and facilities were all clean and well maintained although a little older. The neighborhood was clean, safe, and quiet although a fun ten to fifteen-minute walk to restaurants and places to see and a comfortable thirty-minute walk from old downtown. Hotels closer to these amenities are noisier, more expensive, and don't have the same English charm that we enjoyed here.
