"Just had a 2 night stay at Ascot House with our dog Sid. I can’t praise it enough for cleanliness, breakfast, room size and decor with a fabulous bathroom. The staff at breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful (I have Coeliac disease which they catered for very well). Owner was very welcoming and even came to personally say goodbye. The house was beautiful and very elegant."

"Cute little B&B located just a few mins from the train station and about 15 min walk into the city centre. The room we were in was at the very top. Note, lots of stairs and to get to room 12 is a small awkward staircase but all good for us. Staff were friendly and helpful, in particular Dean and his colleague on reception when we checked in as they recommended 2 amazing restaurants. Dean was fantastic and always warm and friendly whenever you saw him. Loved this hotel and would happily go back. "
