What can one say as it's been said so many times before ! This is a gem to surpass any B & B you've ever stayed in before. The decor is pristine. The rooms are more than clean and comfortable. The breakfast, well Joe you surpass yourself each morning. Andy, " Your toot, toot, toot " as you serve the food is a joy to behold and makes my day each morning. Fantastic week, we have been to Shanklin many times but have never enjoyed it as much as our stay in the Shoreside Inn, the rooms were big an spacious with great sea views. Fantastic breakfast every morning. Andy and Jo the owners could not do enough for all the guests staying with them. The room was clean, cosy and fully equipped, fresh towels and toiletries, a little fridge with water and milk and variety of tea and coffee (topped up each day) Breakfast was amazing cooked by jo, nothing was too much trouble at all. We had the most amazing time at Shoreside Inn. Our hosts were Andy and Jo who were great and went out of the way to make our stay super comfortable. They let us check-in early as and also store our luggage for a few hours after check out. Andy shared a number of useful tips on things to do around the area. He has immense knowledge of the Island and his tips came in very handy. The hotel has a brilliant location right on the sea front. Our room was on the ground floor and had a patio with a beautiful view. The room had all amenities for us to have a very comfortable stay. Thank you Jo for feeding us the yummiest fresh breakfast and the most delicious pastries. You are a star. We would recommend this amazing place to anyone who is looking to stay in Shanklin. Jo and Andy are super friendly and very welcoming. The room was lovely (we had the suite with the bath with a view!) Bed was comfy and the bathroom was huge! Breakfasts on both mornings was top notch. Everything cooked perfectly by Jo with fantastic service ftom Andy. We had the full English and eggs Benedict.The freshly cooked pastries are a nice touch too, packaged to take away for elevenses. This is a marvellous B&B. As well as the obvious advantages - location on seafront, free parking, quiet (adults only) the rooms are modern, fresh and well-appointed, we had a fantastic bathroom too. Breakfasts are made to order, good choices, beautifully cooked and presented and every day we were offered a freshly-baked pastry to take away for later. However, the big selling point for this place has to be the fantastic welcome by the owners- friendly and helpful but not intrusive, nothing too much trouble and very knowledgeable about all the places of interest on the island. Service over and above all expectations and a genuine interest in delivering the best holiday experience for their guests. Wish all B&Bs could be this good, it helped to make a brilliant holiday. Jo and Andy our the most wonderful hosts. Our six nights away was perfect. From Andy’s hosting skills to Jo’s most amazing cooked breakfasts with specials and take away pastries to keep us going through the day, who could ask for more. Their extensive knowledge of the island gave us plenty to think of doing each day of our visit and we were sad to leave. With all of the things the island has to offer for a holiday, the main reason for us looking to go back is to be able to stay here again. 10 stars if I could give them.
