The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet atmosphere. The layout is great as it allows for privacy, access to bathrooms, and ample storage. We love the development as everyone is friendly and welcoming and utilized the pool on property as well. We would have loved to have access to the basketball courts as well but unfortunately, that wasn’t included in the stay. The living room was less comfortable than appeared in the pictures. The sofa was uncomfortable and there were no conveniently placed outlets. (Note to self: Always take a few power strips to rentals.) The TV was mounted very high, making watching difficult. The master bedroom was comfortable. The master bath was spacious and worked well. The condition of the property was not great. The garage door did not work and was not fixed during our stay. This meant I could not park in the garage (as advertised) and could not carry luggage and groceries through the garage directly to the kitchen. One kitchen cabinet door had a hinge that was ripped out of the cabinet. The door would come off in your hand when you tried to open it. The kitchen pans were in extremely bad shape. There was no dishwasher detergent provided. There was no top sheet on the bed in the master bedroom. When I called to complain, both of these problems were rectified that day. The gas fireplace worked nicely. But there were no instructions on how to turn on the gas (a valve behind a panel). In fact, there was no welcome packet or instructions for anything. Check in and check out require driving to the office in Bethany Beach. That is very inconvenient. This is the first rental property I have encountered that required that. This is a nice house in a nice area. It just needs a little more attention from the owners and the property managers. ##### Dean L.
