Enjoyed ourselves greatly, the area is spacious, quiet and the views are beautiful. We had stayed here 5 years ago and will likely return in the future.

Perfect place to get away and relax. Close enough to Santa Fe and Albuquerque for and easy day trip. The nearby Indian ruins are woth a visit as well.
The modern cabin in the woods is a great place to stay. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The property location is stunning and watching the sunrise from the second story balcony was amazing. We also enjoyed seeing all the wildlife on the property.
The property is cozy but didn't feel cramped for the 2 of us. Its super quiet as well, which was great for people like us who live in the noisy suburbs.
This structure is nestled in the woods far away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Fe. The drive alone to this place is worth it. It's comfortable and incredibly peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.
Comfortable, pleasant stay over long weekend. Fully equipped cabin, quiet with humming birds in the back porch. Note that there is a little noise from nearby I-25 (although it is completely out of sight), but in compensation there is a strong 5G cell signal.

Fabulous unique designed property in remote area with a beautiful view upstairs and down. The hosts were so nice in accommodating us. We are sharing with our friends and family the wonderful place we stayed. We would rent again if we return.
A cozy cabin in the woods. Away from town but close enough to enjoy Santa Fe without a long drive. Nice trails right out back. Also the view of the stars at night is exceptional.
The location is very secluded for a peaceful getaway. The scenery from the balcony is great. Overall, the accommodations are very good. The bedroom is large with a comfortable bed. The loft is a pleasant location to read or watch TV. Some repairs are needed in the bathroom.
My wife chose this wonderful spot for me so that I could have some quiet time alone. Call it a retreat. The cabin was spectacular. I enjoyed the sunrise each morning on the amazing 13 x 13 upper deck and basically spent the whole day there reading and being visited by humming birds. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Better than advertised.

Our stay lived up to it’s title…it is a beautiful, modern cabin in a secluded mountain forest. It was spacious with private outdoor patios on the first and second levels. The kitchen contained every possible modern appliance. The only drawback (for us) was there was no air conditioning in the master bedroom area, which makes a difference when the outdoor temperature is 90 degrees.
Such a wonderful, private and quiet space. The hosts were so helpful. Their communication was stellar. A perfect get-away. Wish we were still there!

Helpful Owners and Cute Place
We were late arriving but Barbara answered our call right away to let us in. Our trip was short but we would love to come back and stay longer as the cabin is cozy and in a nice setting to walk our dog and relax a bit.
If your looking for beauty in nature yet the convenience of modern supplies, this is the place! Located off the beaten path, the views of earth and sky are spectacular. The home is fully stocked with anything you need to prepare meals at home, hang out with family and friends, catch a game on TV, or simply pay mindful attention to nature and one another. The hosts Barbara and Selim are both gracious and helpful. We would absolutely stay again if in the area ! Thank you for a great getaway!

This is a must stay! It was more than i imagined. Quiet, seculed and the views from the balcony were amazing. The layout of the home was unique with a spiral staircase leading to more sleeping arrangements and the balcony. The outside property was beautiful. The host graciously has marked out walking trails, unfortunately we did not have time to walk these. But there is always next time as my husband and I will be returning.
This modern cabin in the woods is a delightful retreat for anyone wanting to stay in the Santa Fe area but have the privacy and feel of being out in the woods. The property has lovely well marked hiking trails, and lizards bask in the sun on the side patio. The kitchen has everything you'd need, and the beds are comfortable. It stormed while we were there, and the roads remained passable for our minivan.
I will say that while perfectly safe and serviceable, the spiral staircase creaks quite loudly, even under a child's weight. If you have bad knees, the toilet may be uncomfortably low to the ground.
Cabin and all inside immaculate; very quiet; just what you’d want for a relaxing stay. Bring your own food as Pecos is very limited for cafes. Grill at cabin we say; plenty of cooking utensils, etc at cabin. Warm covers & blankets to use. Firm bed & pillow to my liking. Walking trails leading from cabin into woods & mountains. 2 loose dogs did come up but seemed friendly and local. Superb hosts who are very prompt with returning calls, emails, etc; easy to see why they are premium hosts. We loved it, just what we sought. Try it, you’ll like it. LRB

Quiet Woodsy Aerie
We thoroughly enjoyed Barbara and Selims' guest house! We ate every meal upstairs on the deck and did our best coaxing our dog up the spiral stair! Barbara was the best host I've experienced in vacation rentals, always at the ready (including hooking up the hose so we could give our water loving dog a bath after hiking!) yet giving us total privacy. Be sure and walk her lovingly crafted trails just out your door. I wish I'd asked her for a massage but didn't see the sign until too late.
Great trail for dogs in Pecos Wilderness called Winsor Creek Loop as well as a 2.25 mi. trail not far at Pecos Historical Park (see journal when @ Cabin).
Super place to stay in the woods near Santa Fe. The pros: very clean, really quiet, beautiful scenery with trees and humming birds all around, just the right size for a couple, awesome views from the upstairs deck, cool industrial/contemporary look and feel, fully stocked kitchen and bath, high speed internet, hiking trails just outside the door, fishing in the Pecos river about 15 minutes away, inside a gated community. The cons: a few things need to be repaired, missing steps on the downstairs deck, it is down a really long gravel/dirt road, takes a full 30+ minutes to get to the Santa Fe Plaza. Bottom line is that it is an excellent place to stay if you want a quiet, peaceful, beautiful place and don't mind the long drive into Santa Fe.

fine, but caution for road noise and hazards if bringing young children
Had been looking forward to a get away in the woods but unfortunately this property is closer to I-25 than had been expected, so heard a lot of road noise instead of the peace and quiet we were envisioning. Brought with us a 2.5 year old child and were disappointed to find the bottom deck without railings and only surrounded by caution tape, as well as a fairly loud/squeaky spiral staircase which was not ideal to navigate with a sleeping child. This property would be fine for adults but recommend caution if considering bringing young children.
We loved staying here! The design of the house was unique and had almost everything we needed. We enjoyed hanging out on the terrace and walking around the property. The spiral staircase was a little tricky but other than that, it’s a great place to stay!
