The Peninsula is inside the amazing Marine Protected Area of Tavolara. The spot is 8 km north of San Teodoro, 15 km south of Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (20 minutes distance by car), 17 km south of Olbia Isola Bianca Port. The villa was built in a strategic position in the narrower part of the peninsula. For this reason there is Salina Bamba Beach (facing South) and Cala Suaraccia Beach (facing North) both at hundreds metres distance. You can walk easily to and from the beaches through a private flat road (perfect for a baby stroller). In case of wind it doesn’t matter from which direction it comes from, because you will always have a protected beach to go. If you walk a few metres more you can reach one of the best beaches of Sardinia: Cala Brandinchi known as Tahiti for its breathless clear water and fantastic landscape. Other four beaches (Salinedda, Lastra Ruia, Cala Paradiso, Cala Pipara) are all within walking distance from the villa. All of the beaches are free for the guests. You can bring your own beach chairs and umbrella or, if you prefer, you can hire one directly by the beach. The guests of the villa can use for free the private tennis courts, basket courts, 8 a side Soccer Field with real grass, 5 a side Soccer Field and all the other private attractions of the village. In Piazzetta (central plaza of the village) there are shops, pharmacy, bar, restaurants, market and a spa massage beauty centre which are open in summer. If you like watersports this is your place. You can go to the diving centres (Aquarius and Blu Infinito are both 200 metres from the villa). The Marine Protected Area of Tavolara has the best diving spots of the whole Mediterranean sea. If you prefer you can also hire boats, windsurf, sup, kayak, sailing boats, etc… and play golf in one of the clubs close to the villa. THE VILLA The villa is very cozy and comfortable. Your privacy will be granted during the whole length of your stay. It’s a modern building with furniture made in Italy and decorations and a huge private garden with a very large covered veranda, a swimming pool, hydromassage and solarium. It has two double bedrooms with private bathroom, one bedroom with one queen size bed and two single beds, two baby cribs, a living room with a double sofa and a double sofa bed, three bathrooms, two external showers, a fully equipped kitchen with a large extendable table, a large veranda with a table for 12 people, two differents lounge area with very comfortable sofa and a huge private garden. You will have full use of the entire guesthouse. There are no other guests scheduled in the period when you plan to visit and we will not be present in the villa during the length of your stay. GARDEN AND POOL The private garden with a magnificent view is really large and beautiful. It has grass all over and different kinds of trees, plants and typical flowers. A comfortable hammock is protected by the shadow of a secular olive tree. The infinity pool has a shallow water zone for children and hydromassage stations from where you can admire the sunset while sipping a very good glass of Vermentino. A child safety pool fence (by request 50€) protects the pool making the garden suitable and safe for children of all ages. External showers and sunbeds can be used for sunbathing or relaxation. BBQ for a fantastic grill with friends and wood oven to cook real italian pizza. In the back of the garden there is a dry zone with no sprinklers where it is possible to hang out in the sun towels. Your privacy is granted even when you are in the garden. You can see outside, but nobody can see you. Every week the gardener cuts the grass and takes care of the flowers and plants and the pool is cleaned. VERANDA On the side of the Villa there is a huge shadow portico veranda that hosts a big table for 12 people and two different lounge areas with a very comfortable sofa and coffee table for 10 people. There is also a hammock and two swings for the kids. In case of wind there are rolling curtains all around the patio that can be easily closed to protect all the area. BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS The two double bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, wardrobe and hair dryer. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and two single beds and uses the third bathroom of the villa. Two baby cribs are also available. The air conditioning is independent. Each room can set its own temperature. An external shower is available in the garden. A group of 8 would mean 2 guests in the first double bedroom, 2 guests in the second double bedroom, 3 guests in the three beds bedroom, 1 guest on the double sofa bed of the living room. (Plus two baby cribs). KITCHEN Fully equipped Veneta Cucine kitchen comes with a large extendable table, fridge, oven, microwave, dish washer, induction hob, coffee maker, teakettle and extra large fridge. Kitchen includes utensils, glassware, pots, pans and everything else you would need to comfortably cook gourmet meals throughout your stay. LIVING ROOM Living room area comes with two very comfortable lounge sofas. One of those can be transformed into a double bed for two extra guests. Enjoy complimentary high-speed wireless Internet and smart TV. SECURITY The entire area of the peninsula is very quiet and safe. To make your stay even more peaceful there will be a private security service inside the village and a video surveillance service along the external perimeter of the garden of the villa. The images are temporarily stored on the Hikvision DVR placed next to the TV and then automatically deleted. No one can view the images. Please be respectful of the neighbours and neighbourhood by avoiding disturbing noises. Outside music is tolerated during the day (however never after 11.50 pm), but may not exceed the legal decibel limits. Even the village's family entertainment team must also adhere to noise regulations. The music is always kept below the legal limit to avoid disturbing neighbors. Depending on the wind, between 9 PM and 11 PM, it can be heard more or less from the west side of the house garden; it's part of the holiday atmosphere. If we had any questions we always received prompt answers => communication 6 stars! Area 7 stars! Only challenge is to get to a lively village without car. There are no Taxis around, you have to rent bikes and cycle longer ways. We have been 5 adults, even 1 or 2 more people would have been no problem. The house is good as per photos. You must have a car. I would have given it a 5 start rating had the whole magic not been spoilt by a very unpleasant experience in relation to checking out. Zwar war sie oberflächlich gereinigt allerdings fanden sich in der Küche geöffnete, alte und vertrocknete Lebensmittel in großen Mengen von Vormietern. In der Küche fanden sich unzählige Töpfe, Pfannen, Schalen etc. in schlechtem und völlig ungeordneten Zustand. Des Weiteren fanden wir im Wohnbereich schubladenweise Massen Unrat, Müll und Überbleibsel von vermutlich vorherigen Gästen, die nie entsorgt wurden. Die spitze dieser Überbleibsel bildete eine Schublade im Kleiderschrank des Kinderzimmers. Hier fand sich neben alter Kleidung, Socken und Unterhosen von ebenfalls vorherigen Gästen. Die Bestätigung, dass keinerlei schränke und Regale ausgeräumt und gereinigt wurden. Auch im Bad fanden sich angebrochene Packungen von Slipeinlagen u. mehrere angebrochene Deos. Es fühlte sich für uns sehr befremdlich an, da wir ein anderes Verständnis von einer gereinigten Ferienvilla haben. Die Außenanlage war grundsätzlich gepflegt jedoch fand sich auch am Grillplatz hinter dem Haus eine Ansammlung von Müll und Gerümpel. Für 7 Personen (4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) war der Innenbereich (Wohnzimmer/Küche) hingegen etwas klein, vor allem wenn man im Herbst bei kühleren Temperaturen gerne drinnen essen möchte. Ausstattung im Haus war gut. Check-in: Nach einer langen Anreise konnten wir das Haus erst 1.5 Stunden später als vereinbart beziehen. Im Inserat war leider nicht erwähnt, dass so gut wie alle Hotels, Restaurants, Läden im Umkreis von 5 km bereits geschlossen, was wir sehr bedauerten. Nichtsdestotrotz hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt in Matteo‘s Haus an einer wunderschönen Lage in der Nähe zahlreicher schöner Strände. ##### Adrienne S. Gefühlt waren wir die einzigen Gäste in dem Wohngebiet. Oktober ist Nachsaison und wegen Corona waren noch weniger Gäste auf der Insel. Fußläufig sind Cala Brandichinini, Lu Impostu und andere Traumstrände zu erreichen. Das Haus hatte alles was wir brauchten, sauber, schöner Garten (mit Hängematte unter den Olivenbäumen :-)) und Maria war jederzeit erreichbar. Wegen Lockdownandrohung sind wir leider 2 Nächte eher abgereist. Auch beim Turb-Checkout war Maria sofort da und wir konnten rechtzeitig zur Fähre. Alles prima. ##### Guido F. The house is nice, very clean and very well equipped. We felt very much at home. There is really everything there you need (kitchen supplies, towels, umbrellas for the beach, all in very good condition). All pictures and description are correct. The garden and veranda is beautiful and well maintained. Few minutes walking distance to two beautiful small sandy beaches. 5 min drive to Cala brandichni . As mentioned before there is a club hotel close by with music played at night. Das Haus liegt optimal zwischen mehreren Traumstränden. Es war alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Das absolute Highlight am Haus ist der Garten mit einer genialen Veranda. Wir bewohnten das Haus mit 8 Personen. Das war insgesamt unproblematisch. Das Haus bietet alles was man benötigt und war sehr sauber. Die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr gut. Fragen wurden immer umgehend beantwortet - vorbildlich. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ist dieser Standort optimal. Wir können die Unterkunft empfehlen. ##### Michael L. Mitte April waren in der Ferienhaussiedlung, in der das Haus steht, kaum Urlauber vorzufinden. Vielmehr waren viele Menschen um uns herum damit beschäftigt, ihr Feriendomizil für die Vorsaison bzw. Hauptsaison herzurichten. Unser Haus war mit einer neuen Küche ausgestattet, in der alles, was man so brauchte, vorhanden war. Dank des Vorhandenseins dreier Bäder und Schlafzimmer war unser Aufenthalt mit sechs Erwachsenen sehr komfortabel. Der Garten der Villa ist topp gepflegt! Und das Haus war sehr sauber, Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden gestellt. Die Umgebung ist wirklich wunderschön. Gleich mehrere Strände sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Da unser Urlaub noch vor dem eigentlichen Saisonstart lag, war leider kein Supermarkt in der unmittelbaren Umgebung geöffnet und zu Fuß zu erreichen. Dieser macht erst später im Jahr auf. Mit dem Auto konnten wir aber im Nachbarort einkaufen bzw. taten dies nach unseren Tagesausflügen, wenn wir in Olbia oder San Teodoro vorbeifuhren. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen und Sardinien ein traumhaftes Reiseziel! ##### Annette K. Fußläufig sind vier wunderschöne Strandbuchten zu erreichen. Für Kinder gibt es Buddelsachen und Sonnenschirme im Gartenhaus zum ausleihen. Wir waren im Oktober da und es war wunderbar ruhig und kaum Menschen zu sehen. Der nächste Supermarkt ist 10 Minuten Autofahrt entfernt. Man sollte also mit Lebensmitteln vorplanen. ##### Maren R. Summery: I can totally recommend this house for a stay in sardinia. The big garden, the short distance to several beaches and the possibility to use the pool from the next community makes the house to a good location also for families with kids. condition: The house and the garden are maintained perfect. The pictures and the description are correct and you really can fell like you are at home. equipment: You find everything you need. The kitchen is good equipped an clean. The rooms are all clean and in good condtion. The discription of equipment is correct. There are several possibilities to sit outside for breakfast, dinner or to have a relaxed evening. location: there are two really beautiful (small) beaches you can reach within a few minutes walk. you also can reach the beaches Cala Brandinchi (perfct for kids) and Spiaggia di Punta Est within a 5 min drive by car. support: Matteo (mail contact) and Maria (local contact) are boath very helpful in any kind of question or problems. They really interested to provide you a great stay in sardinia. The only small disadvantage is that Maria can not talk english.
