Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the premises. A minimum $250 fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found. PLEASE NOTE! \- Please take note that this home is NOT baby and/or child-proofed. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental. All people staying at this home should also know how to swim. If your family does not know how to swim, please do not book this home. \- There is exterior surveillance camera recording 24/7\. The camera is located on the front patio overlooking the parking area. \- A noise monitoring device is installed in the backyard. It does not record any sounds or conversations; it simply measures the noise level in decibels. \- Please note that early check-ins and late check-outs are available at our discretion. There are extra fees for either of these add-ons when available. \- No street parking available. \- This home does NOT allow children between the ages of 6 months-3 years under any circumstances. Any guests over the age of 3 are required to know how to swim, including adults. If these conditions cannot be met, we invite you to browse through our inventory for alternative accommodations that do not have a pool. \- The fireplace is to not be utilized. \- The pool is solar-heated during certain months, with the warmest temperatures occurring from mid-April to October. During the other months, the water may be cold. CANCELLATION POLICY \- A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee. \- Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee). \- Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment. Parties and Overoccupancy Policy: \- If the guest violates any of our rules regarding noise, parties, or overoccupancy, and the host receives complaints from neighbors, a $500 fine will be imposed per occurrence. The game room was super fun for our kids and the property is well appointed. It didn’t have wine glasses and I sent the property manager a note asking if they were somewhere I couldn’t see and they dropped off some new ones since they weren’t there, same day. The pool was too cold to enjoy to its fullest. The space provided was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Shower temp and pressure were great. Kitchen had everything we need. Floors were very dirty - could not walk around with bare feet without turning feet black. The request from owners to not be outside at all before 9 am or after 9 pm seems unreasonable. Hubby and I love a cup of coffee or glass of wine outdoors at these times. Walls were a sterile unwelcoming white and all furniture seemed IKEA. Just not very homey. We loved the games in the garage. The biggest drawback was the location. Far from beach and houses were tightly packed. It was convenient to attractions like the zoo. Plenty of nice linen and overall great space to chill. NOTE: The pool was too cold even for my Michigan kids. We enjoyed that it was nestled into a quiet neighborhood but minutes away from all the great places that San Diego has to offer. The features of the house were well designed for relaxation. We enjoyed the open floor plan which was very attractive. The house was very well equipped. Our favorite space was the beautifully landscaped backyard. Not only was the house clean but it had everything you could need and it was also beautiful. The pool provided endless fun. The backyard is everything the photos show and more. The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors very friendly. The service provided was met and exceeded expectations. This place is amazing! It had everything I needed for my family. A beautiful backyard area to grill and chill in the sun and pool. A large kitchen area to cook and enjoy meals as a family and to even work. Powerful, reliable internet - enough to satisfy my teenager's thirst for data and my work requirements! The location is central to everything in San Diego - restaurants, beaches, attractions, and sits in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. House has all the amenities needed and then some - including a great pool for keeping kids occupied while the adults relax.
