However, we rated our experience a 3 out of 5 due to several notable drawbacks: - Misleading Amenities: The Gym, Pool, and Spa were all under renovation and completely unavailable. Unfortunately, these amenities were still listed as active on Expedia, which felt misleading. When we brought this up with the front desk, they apologized but didn’t seem interested in updating the listing to reflect the current situation. - Noise Issues: The walls—both between rooms and facing outside—were extremely thin. We could hear everything. Interestingly, the room came with earplugs, suggesting this is a known issue. - Temperature Control Limitations: The air conditioning system is apparently controlled by wing. Guests had limited control, can only adjust the fan speed. It was very well situated, with steps leading to town centre, so can avoid the messy construction on the road. Service was excellent, from front desk to restaurant staff. Breakfast spread was great and the buffet Bbq dinner with show was enjoyable. Spa was just average though. Le personnel est en revanche aux petits soins mais la ville de Sapa est bruyante, sale et n'offre aucun intérêt particulier. Constructions anarchiques et extrêmement bruyante, elle n'est aucunement le reflet des paysages environnants.
