The popular Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Light Railway and Port Lympne Safari Park are around a 30-minute drive away to the East, with the vibrant town of Hastings and the historic town of Battle a 30-minute drive to the West, where the battle between King Harold and William the Conqueror gave 1066 Country its name.
