Upon my arrival at the hotel, no one at the hotel asked me if I needed help to bring my luggage from my car to the front desk. As the front desk was approximately 10 steps up from the street level, and we had a heavy luggage, it was a difficult task for me.
Upon entering the first floor hotel room, it was dark, old, not renovated and dingy.
The television did not work, the shower door in the washroom was defective and the toiletries were sparse and insufficient.
We turned on the air conditioning unit, as it was over 40 degrees centigrade outside, and left the room.
The rules for the swimming pool specified that no glass bottles or drinking glasses were permitted in the pool area, but no one adhered to this rule and there was no supervision from the hotel.
Upon our return to the hotel room later on at night, the hotel room was hot and stifling, and the air conditioning was on but it was not working properly.
We had a very uncomfortable night trying to sleep in the terrible heat.
In the morning as we were leaving the hotel room, we spoke to the hotel cleaning staff that was on our floor and we explained the problem with the air conditioning and the overall appearance of the room.
The hotel staff tried the air conditioning and confirmed that it was not working properly, and that they were surprised that we had not been given a room on the second floor and higher, which were all renovated, while all the rooms on the first floor were not renovated.
Cons: Hotel Staff with manners and politeness
Clean and updated rooms
Air conditioners that are functional
Television and other accessories that work
Location: Nothing special
