Manure odor

The odor was bad. No fans to keep cool. If you are going to do activities in Zella am see the hotels in that town give out a summer pass that gets a family of four at least 100 euro per day in free admissions. Paying more to stay in zell am see is totally worth it in summer.

nice hotel, great restaurant, access to skiing!

The owners and staff are really nice and helpful. The hotel is in a village with easy drive or bus ride to lifts at Kitzbuhl, Kaprun, and Zell am See. The room and bathroom were clean, Austrian standard size and style. The restaurant was really great with delicious food and a balance between casual and classy. Breakfast is also very good with buffet and fresh eggs brought to the table. Small, family run business!

Prisvärt med bra läge

Stannade två nätter, valde hotellet då det var ett bra pris inkl frukost och då läget passade mig utmärkt. Jag kom söderifrån via Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse och skulle sedan besöka Krimmlerfallen innan jag åkte norrut via Pass Thurm.

Solo snow holiday

Pleasant, nicely decorated family run hotel. One stop shop for snow outing - can rent ski gear and buy lift/bus tickets in the hotel. Very reasonable priced food and drink within the hotel. No other facilities (shops, restaurants) in the walking distance but can use the bus service (bus stop across the road) or car to reach nearby villages and snow resorts. No wifi signal in room, woks ok in common areas downstairs.

Verlängertes Skiwochenende

Waren insgesamt 4 Tage/3 Nächte im Wohlfühlhotel Tannenhof. Und wir waren vom ersten Moment begeistert. Sind spät angekommen und haben am ersten Abend a la Carte gegessen. Zimmer war groß und geräumig, nur das Bad war recht klein - aber alles top sauber! Nächsten Tag waren wir im 10 min entfernten Kaprun auf dem Gletscher Skilaufen und Abend s auf dem kleinen Weihnachtsmarkt in Zell am See. Tag 2 ein Ausflug nach Salzburg. Haben dann Abends noch teilweise HP dazu gebucht, bzw. ganz nach Wunsch von der Karte gegessen. Egal was - es war wirklich klasse - Kompliment an den Koch und auch den schnellen Service. Haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel

Ein Hotel das man jederzeit und guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen kann. Sehr freundliche und familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir waren nur für drei Nächte da und fühlten uns trotzdem sehr schnell heimisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich mit allen üblichen Zutaten. Es gab selbstgemachte Marmelade und Brotaufstriche. Auch Obstsalat und teilweise Müsli wurden immer frisch zubereitet (keine Dosenware). Bei der Abreise gab es noch ein kleines Glas Marmelade als Geschenk. Negativ war die sehr kleine Nasszelle unseres Zimmers. Vor allem die Toilette war sehr ungünstig angebracht. Mit fülligeren Körpermaßen wahrscheinlich nicht zu gebrauchen. Bei geöffnetem Fenster / Balkontür etwas laut wegen der Nähe zur Hauptstrasse. (Anmerkung: hatten noch ein zweites Zimmer gebucht wo die Nasszelle in Ordnung war) Deshalb nur eine 4 in der Gesamtbewertung.
