The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. Hot tubs amazing. Went with 2 kids. 14 and 5 and both loved it. Forest on your door step literally. Gill looked after us and let the kids have an extra hour in bed on checkout day. We arrived just after chick in time, the hot tub was ready and up to temperature for us to use it straight away if we like, with complimentary spa dressinggowns and slippers. Also there were complimentary teas and coffies, bred jam and butter, milk and watter. Hosts were fantastic despite us being late and getting lost, cottage had everything you needed and was very comfortable.
