Inner City Hotel close to everything

Posted 30-May-2017
Pros: The location and the price point. The Staff were excellent. Convenience. Great price for a family of 4.
Cons: Desperate need of renovations. If not, maybe just deal with the "old room" smell would be a good start.
Location: Great location, in the heart of the city. Next to Miss Maudes and other restaurants. Close to shopping malls and the new city library.
Reasonable price and reasonable stay. Older style room with the positive of being quite large however old rooms have that old smell, old furniture and reminded me of a timeshare. Was clean and serviced well however noisy plumbing at night kept me from having a better sleep. Staff were wonderful and very accommodating.

Convenient location, affordable accommodation

Posted 22-May-2017
Pros: Good location, large room size.
Cons: The sound from the pipes could be very annoying to some people. Others won't be bothered by it.
Location: There are several restaurants nearby, and also the Hay St mall. Elizabeth St Quay and the Bell Tower are not far away.
I booked this hotel for two people attending a conference at the convention centre. It was walking distance from the convention centre, shops and restaurants, so that was very convenient. The beds were fine and the room was large. The only downside was that we could hear a bit of noise from pipes from other rooms - once we were woken up in the middle of the night by extremely loud pipes screeching, so that was a bit of a shock. It's an older hotel so the plumbing probably needs some work. It is cheaper than many other places in the Perth CBD, I believe.

Great location. Older but comfortable hotel

The location of this hotel is perfect for anything in the centre of Perth. The rooms and hotel overall are a little old but clean and comfortable.

Nice staff. Not a 4 star hotel

Posted 17-Apr-2017
Pros: Location.
Cons: Cleanliness!
Location: Great location, decent Korean food place nearby, easy walk to the quay.
The cleanliness of the room was the main con. Staff were really friendly, and the location was great, was able to walk everywhere from the hotel. The room was very shabby and tired, could do with a bit of tlc, the shower was pretty grim, a gaping whole in the ceiling and tiles which had not had a clean in a long while. Dust everywhere! Definitely not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. First thing we came across is a pair of underpants on the sofa, and questionable stains! Advertised as having Foxtel but not available. Won't be returning.

Shabby

I don't think this is a 4 star hotel. Everything was really shabby and worn looking from the entrance up to the rooms. It needs a massive renovation. I won't be staying again
