"Excellent location, right in the action, a block to 5th ave and tons of restaurants and bars. Only a few rooms in the hotel have been renovated to look like the pictures, mine was not, looked like it was renovated in 1970, but it was clean, no mold, no bugs. Bed was firm but comfortable, smart tv and good A/C. Big issue for me was no mini fridge. Ivan the manager was awesome, very helpful and kind. "Really nice hotel close to everything yet feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle thanks to the tropical courtyard. Room was clean and comfortable and staff were very accommodating. Some loud music from the hostel nearby but this finished by midnight so didn’t affect our stay. Would stay here again!"

"The room met all of our needs for a family of six. The beds were comfortable & having two bathrooms was great. The room had three ac units. We were able to easily walk to get a meal. Pavel the bartender was so welcoming and we enjoyed spending time with him at the bar almost every day we were there. Each day he suggested a new drink & they were always delicious! He even offered pool side service. The pools decks were relaxing & the views from the pools were great. We read reviews about noise. Not once did we hear noise during our stay & slept great. We felt safe & all of our needs were met. The only thing that was difficult was getting out or the parking garage but an associate opened the gate every time & guided you. "

"The rooftop area was amazing and had a fun vibe to it. The entire staff was the best I’ve ever experienced at a place like this. Francisco was there almost everyday I was there on the rooftop area and he made it fun the whole time. Always provided amazing service and entertaining guy.
Ricardo who works in the lobby bar was also an absolute pleasure to sit, drink, and speak with. He provided a lot of good knowledge of the local area and was genuinely great to have as one of the first faces you see walking into the hotel.
The concierge desk, restaurant waiters, and cleaning staff were amazing as well. There are too many names to mention. Overall I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you are looking to stay in Playa Del Carmen."
