They also charge for an other person to stay in a a room made for two so it’s quiet strange to me as I never experience it before . All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and having them at the gated entrance 24 hour round was a great tick in the piece of mind box. It's a good budget hotel in a convenient location. Its very convenient to 5th Avenue, the bus station and the ferry to Cozumel. A really good Italian restaurant is across the street and many more restaurants, shops, dive operators, convenience stores and cafes are close. It's a cute, clean hotel, the rooms are simply but nicely decorated. The room was very clean, but because they leave the windows open ( no screens), the room had lots of mosquitos. I got bug spray from reception, so except for the smell, not a huge problem. I sprayed the room and left to go to dinner. There was a mini fridge, but it didn't work. It's very low season right now, so there was plenty of time to check that it worked. It has a bit of standing water in it. It's HOT this time of year, so that would really have been nice. There was also pretty noticable music from a nearby club, it went on pretty late and it was a Sunday, so be prepared for noise - to be fair, that the same for most places in the vicinity of 5th or 10th Avenue. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is a very walkable location. The staff was friendly. A big bonus was Enzo, the resident cat. He was so friendly and came to our room multiple times to hang out. The sound from the bar nearby is a little loud sometimes, but personally it didn't bother us. The hammock was a nice touch and there were places to dry your beach clothes.
