Our 6 day stay at Antera Hotel was great! The hotel was very clean, quiet, safe, staff were friendly, and the location was perfect! Only a 8 minute walk to the ocean front and a 5 minute walk to the main strip where there were plenty of bars, restaurants, shops etc. We would certainly recommend this Hotel to our friends and family.

Our one bedroom was very spacious. We used the kitchen to prepare breakfast every morning. The staff were lovely and attentive. The location was great, just steps away from all the shops and restaurants and within walking distance to the ferry and the beach. I would stay here again. The only downside -over which the hotel had no control- was the sargassum at the beach. Otherwise, everything was great.

It is a cute colonial style hotel in the middle of el centro de Merida. Great shopping and restaurants at walking distance. The service was attentive and courteous. I used the pool and it was refreshing and relaxing. I would recommend updating the piping system as there was a light sewage smell in the room from from the pipes. I assume from the bathroom plumbing. Other than that, cute place. Great location

This is our 5th time at Anterra hotel and residences so I might be biased but we love it. Staff, facilities and pools are all excellent. Pools are always clean and well maintained. We stay in the residence side, typically a 1 bedroom suite and having a kitchen is amazing. Suites are well appointed and much quieter than the hotel side, as many guests point out there is some street noise and a building under construction across the street, but these are minor factors if you're in the right mindset to enjoy all Playa Del Carmen and the region have to offer. We did a day tour to Isla Mujeres from the hotel, which we booked from the gentlemen in the lobby and the trip and price were excellent. Highly recommended. There is a reason we've been 5 times recently and I hope you enjoy your stay and the warm hospitality the hotel offers.

My family of four only needed one night and we were delighted with the hotel the staff and grateful that the hot tub was actually hot and running currently there is construction across from the rooftop swimming pool, but that’s beyond their control and we still made the best out of the situation Music was playing, and the bartender was able to bring drinks from the main bar up to the rooftop bars, the view the ambience is great during the day as well as night in the heart of the downtown area where many shops the beach is closed by tons of restaurants we did eat at the Yum Yum for breakfast Very good food good coffee, lattes, and Matcha tea. Everyone very friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
