Great hotel for a weekend stay

Posted 22-May-2017
Pros: Customer service and breakfast
Cons: Shower was a bit cramped
Location: Right next to the Louvre. Near a couple of metro stations so easy to move about.
Great place to stay for a weekend in Paris. Right next to the Louvre. Cleanest hotel bathroom I've ever seen although the shower was a bit small. Staff were great to deal with - all spoke English and were very welcoming. The breakfast was amazing - I think the hot chocolate was made with actual chocolate. Highly recommend this place. Will look to stay here again when I return to Paris.

Great boutique hotel. Mins to Louvre, 15 mins to D'orsay, Pont Neuf and Notre Dame. Staff is friendly and accomadating. Used the hotel airport transfer....the best. Oh the bed was so comfortable I had to make myself get out and enjoy Paris. One block to the Seine.

Perfect European Hotel

Posted 22-Jan-2017
Pros: Modern bathroom facilities; comfortable beds, sheets, bedding, and pillows; spotlessly clean; wonderful staff
Location: Next-door to the Louvre; two metro stops very close; cafes and shopping
The perfect European hotel experience for non-europeans. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds, excellent mattresses, pillows, and quality bedding. The bathroom was modern and well apportioned with spa soaps, lotions and shampoo/shower gel. The hotel staff was impeccable! Spoke perfect English, which is very helpful for those completely unfamiliar with French. In other words, they will understand you no matter where your from!! A delightful breakfast is available for order in your room. It was a great way to get moving every day. Perfect location as well. I can't think of a single negative thing to point out. It was simply perfect.

Convenient, quiet boutique hotel

Very nice boutique hotel next to the Louvre and metro. The room thou small had everything I needed and the plush bath towels were a plus. I was there for 2 nights and slept like a baby.

Great location, wonderful staff, great atmosphere, good rates. Let down only by poor WiFi reception again.

It was a good stay but I don't like how we were offered breakfast, yet weren't told it was $13 per person. And the breakfast was definitely not worth $26 euros.

Great room for one

Posted 21-Nov-2016 on Hotels
This hotel is in a great location right across from the Louvre and just down the street from the M1 stop Louvre Rivoli. Room and bathroom were tiny but just enough room for one. Very clean. Staff mostly spoke English and were helpful.

Wonderful place!

This was a wonderful place right in the heart of the action of Paris. You can walk to everything from this hotel. Fredericka was most helpful in scheduling tours, the Moulan Rouge and taxis when needed.

A jewel of a hotel: clean, great staff, central

Posted 14-May-2016 on Hotels
This small hotel is cosy, clean and the rooms and bathroom are lovingly decorated and catered. The staff (day of night shift) are a great asset too, always very helpful, with great English skills, which is great for a tourist who has forgotten most of the French learnt at school. Bed was very comfortable. I am very fussy about cleanliness and everything was spotless: bed, under and behind the bed, curtains, all the upholstery, chairs, walls and decorations, the bathroom, tub...everything 100% clean. The small bathing products are also very good, organic. When opening my window I could see the Louvre so close, but it is the Eastern end side which is not a main ticket entry, so you don't get to see crowds, and the area remains peaceful even during busy hours, yet you are in the middle of Paris. The BEST thing though has to be being opposite and within just 6-8 metres of the historical church St Germain-L'auxerrois (just Google its history). Opposite my window I had beautiful gargoyles and to my surprise one evening at 9pm I was treated to hearing the organist rehearse beautiful music, so I sat in the armchair with the window open just listening to this wonderful distant music.....it reminded me of Phantom of the Opera.....after all.... it is Paris! Highly recommended and a jewel I have been searching for a long time, I wouldn't go anywhere else and this is my new 'Paris home'. Walking, you are close to nearly any historical building, this is like the epicentre of Paris.
