Park your car - no need to drive anywhere with pier park across the street - the ultimate dining, shopping, entertainment complex including Margaritaville, the back porch, marble slab creamery, the last resort, Ron Jon surf shop, buffalo wild wings (for all the games!), five guys, cantina Mexican cuisine, red bricks pizza, Starbucks, hoffbrau beer gardens, a 14 screen theater complex, target (with new 'fresh market' grocery store), dillards, Ann Taylor loft, chicos, American eagle, aeropostale, old navy, borders books, fusion day spa, massage envy, cute boutiques and much, much more! Free outdoor concerts - Thursday evenings at pier park. Carnival rides and games for the young children. Close to frank brown park! We are located next to unspoiled beaches, and beyond that is the Russell fields city pier - over 1500 feet! The longest pier on the gulf of Mexico - offering breathtaking views and inexpensive fishing tackle rentals. For a great lunch 'to go' to the beach, check out fatty's sub shop across the street - excellent wraps, pizza, sandwiches! Pros- property was clean and we were allowed to check in early. Owner was very responsive to questions and check in process. Very very courteous and helpfulCons- our main issue was this was an 8 person condo and only had two balcony chairs…two. Garbage disposal didn’t work and tv volume shut off randomly in the living room. The condo was fine just definitely needed some maintenance for sure. we would stay here again

Mother-Daughter Senior Trip

We had an amazing stay at Calypso. Our unit was beautiful and comfortable. Amazing view from the balcony. Absolutely love the location so near Pier Park. Beach has soft sand and we saw dolphins, sea turtles and stingrays. Really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to it again!

It was great will definitely be back! Only down fall is on Calypso how the elevator operates is horrible and not enough carts! Other than that Bruce was wonderful

Amazing views and great location

The biggest thing is the amazing view of the ocean and sunsets past the pier. Then the location is beach front, walking distance to Pier Park and all it’s shops and restaurants. Never bothered by noises from other units

First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. Situated right on the beach, we enjoyed breathtaking ocean views from the comfort of our balcony. The convenience of having direct access to the beach allowed us to make the most of our vacation time. The condo itself was beautifully furnished and well-maintained. It was clear that attention had been given to every detail, from the comfortable beds to the fully equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Weekend Away

My friends and I originally booked a hotel for the weekend, but I randomly decided to check out the VRBOs because we wanted to be closer to the beach. I found this rental and we all immediately decided to get out of our hotel reservation. The owners were quick to respond and even made it possible for us to check in early. So convenient and amazing view of the ocean. Thank you!!

Best location

Condo is actually bigger than I thought. Best location to be. In the middle of everything. Only complaint is appliances need updated such as stove it took me an hour to boil water but not a big issue. Toilet leaked and dishwasher didn't work but the property manager was quick to get the issues resolved and working properly. Only real issue was the sand in the bunk beds. I washed the bedding. Great place though. Would stay again for sure.
