I would like to recommend this lovely hotel and say that there is definitely my favourite in London. I spent one night when coming to London to visit Art Galleries. Location is just perfect 8/10 minutes walking from PaddingtonTrain Station in a street with very lovely properties and another 5/10 min walking to Hyde Park. I was lucky to be upgraded on arrival and was given a room with a super comfortable 4 poster bed, complimentary expresso machine , water, tea , cookies and macaroons! Lovely...

My stay was brief but highly enjoyable. Staff were very warm and welcoming and the room was immaculate. I also got to use the sauna, which was a welcome bonus. Just one small improvement would make a real difference: the bathroom had one of those terrible half-screened showers, which meant that water went everywhere. Newly renovated, nicely furnished and well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, crisp white sheets, I have a small room with some outside noise room 216, but it was comfortable and ideal for a one night stay. Would prefer a larger room for any longer stay.
