"Had a great experience.hotel 2 blocks from Paddington sta.Hotel very nice from outside,old Victorian. Front desk very nice, smiling,very accommodating. Room was ok. Larger than Paris or NYC hotels. Basic,but great water pressure,lots of hot water. Bed very comfortable and tv and wifi great. I travel to Europe almost every month,retired airline (free travel) and I will stay here again.thank you Royal Eagle"

"Lancaster Gate Hotel is part of a high quality Georgian terrace with a stately appearance. It is perfectly situated for access to Hyde Park, the Italian Fountains and the head of the Serpentine. Paddington Mainline Station and Lancaster Gate underground are also very close. The hotel itself is good value for London. The rooms are clean & comfortable and there is a pleasant and well-stocked foyer bar with friendly service. I can't comment the breakfast as I didn't partake, but there are several local cafes within an easy walk. All good."
