Prima Bed & breakfast

Posted 27-Dec-2015
Pros: Kleinschalig en persoonlijk
Cons: n.v.t.
Location: Zie boven.

Excellent Hotel for UGA Parents

Posted 09-Nov-2015
We were visiting our daughter who is an exchange student from UGA. The hotel is virtually next door to their house. It is very nice, very quiet and provides a very good breakfast. The room was quite large for being in a European B&B, though the in-room shower is only big enough for the smallest of children (we just stood outside of the stall and got plenty of extra towels to mop up).

Comfortable hotel short walk from Oxford centre

Posted 31-Oct-2015
Pros: Brilliant staff that makes all the difference.
Cons: If anything the heating.
Location: Lots to do and see in Oxford, so make sure you stay for a few days (best seen in good weather)
two persons staying in deluxe double room no35. Very polite and helpful staff, assisted my wife carrying her bag and made a simple breakfast that wasnt listed on the menu. The room was well kept and furnished, with good working shower. Staff were able to offer us free street parking for the day on our departure as parking in oxford centre can be difficult. we were quite happy to walk the fifteen minutes into town.

Good location, amazing breakfasts, will stay again

Posted 14-Sep-2015
Pros: Wonderful, huge, and complete breakfasts making it possible to eat just 2 meals per day and save money. Offers king size beds. Quiet at night.
Cons: The cleanliness of the rooms was sub-par. It was clear that the room was not vacuumed every day, and there was evidence of the prior guests' stay.
Location: City center is just a 5 minute bus ride down the road. Blenheim Palace is a 30 minute ride up the road. Buses come by every 15-30 minutes for each.
Our stay at Parklands was very nice and the price paid for what you get represents an excellent value.

Great attention to detail

Posted 03-Sep-2015
Faultless. Tastefully designed with the guests' every need catered for and carefully thought through. A great dining area and a delicious, fresh breakfast with healthy options available. 20 minutes walk into the centre or regular buses close by. Very highly recommended.

Had a nice stay here with my wife. Need car or bus to get into town. Room was comfortable and breakfast substantial. No complaints. Staff nice. Would recommend to friend.

I'd stay again

Posted 17-Aug-2015 on Hotels
Spent 2 relatively comfortable nights at Parklands. Lack of ventilation occasioned by need to keep windows closed due to traffic noise (the room was on Banbury Road) accounts for the reduced room comfort score. My advice: specify quiet room away from road when booking. Helpful staff. Ample breakfast. Easy access to city centre and elsewhere (on bus route).

Just the place to stay for a visit to Oxford

Posted 15-Aug-2015 on Hotels
Excellent. Location is ideal for going into Oxford - after parking at the hotel, we were able to catch a bus from the stop close by to take us straight into the city. Freshly cooked breakfast of choice. Friendly staff. Room was quiet at night so we got a good night's sleep in a very comfy bed. We intend booking the hotel again when doing our regular trips down to Brighton. Highly recommended.
