Not bad for the price

Posted 25-Oct-2016
Pros: Breakfast and the price.
Cons: Dead roach next to the microwave. Outside was kind of run down.
Room had two comfortable beds, a big bathroom and a corner surrounded by wood paneling perfect for drinking and card games. The breakfast was good. Overall though the motel was what you'd expect from a modest price, beach front motel.

My friend and I found our room to be adequate and comfortable for our stay . The motel is old but well maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average. Would recommend to others.

Close to the beach

Posted 11-Sep-2016
Pros: It was close to the beach, had a playground, and designated picnic area with grills. There was plenty to do and see not far from the hotel.
Cons: Attitude by hotel staff at front desk.
I think that a hotel with a great location would want to welcome their guests, encourage them to have a nice stay, and thank their customers for choosing them. Not a word about anything. Just, "Here's your key cards and your room is located down the hall." This set a very negative tone for our entire stay. The weather was great, the swimming pool was okay but falling apart in some sections, but it had a playground and a designated picnic area with grills and umbrellas. I understand that a major storm just blew through the area (almost 7 days before), but when you see a few stars and stripes of the American flag flying in the front a hotel, one begins to wonder what type of owners are these people. Yes, I am from out of town and all the more reason to ensure your guests have a positive experience. There's so much to see and do in the area and it's amazing, but I don't know if I'll come back and that's unfortunate.

Nice pet friendly stay

Posted 07-Sep-2016
Pros: The staff
Location: There are tons of things to do near by, including many restaurants either a short walk or drive away.
I had booked my trip on Expedia and when we arrived I found that the room we booked wasn't pet friendly. The staff noticed this as we were checking in and Farida checked to see if they still had any pet friendly rooms. She was able to accommodate us immediately with only minor changes that ultimately did not matter to us either way due to the one night stay. During our stay we noticed Bud walking around and talking to guests asking them about their trip, etc. He was also seen offering to help other hotel staff which we thought was very kind and not something you see too often any more.

Rooms had tiny beds and half size pillows. Did not enjoy 'their comfort', breakfast was decent. And was on the beach!

good place to stay

I could only get a room with 2 double beds and they were too small. People were friendly, I enjoyed the pool and the beach. The breakfast was good.

Excellent location & comfortable, clean room

Posted 30-Aug-2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Oceanfront Location, pool, outdoor shower and change area, playground.
I stayed here for 2 nights with my 2 kids. We had a standard double room on the 2nd floor of the Four Seasons building. The room was clean and had the basic amenities that you expect from a hotel. What I really liked about this place is that not only is it oceanfront so you are RIGHT THERE at the beach, but it also has a pool, playground and a grilling area- all for an insanely great price. I also loved the fact that there was a private, outdoor shower/change area. This comes in very handy when you are trying to get a ton of sand off of your little ones! The staff was all very kind and friendly- no complaints there. The free breakfast is also great- it helps to cut down on costs of eating out! Overall, very very happy with out experience and will most definitely be visiting again.
