Cheap hotel

Posted 19-Jul-2016
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: Plenty of restaurants and just a couple of miles from the Wright Brothers Memorial.
The hotel was cheap and on the beach. The AC barely pumped in the room, and the bathroom was in desperate need of a deep cleaning. There was mold all across the ceiling and within the shower. The room was tight but comfortable. The beds felt smaller than a normal queen, but the room did have a small fridge and microwave. It also had quite a few channels on the tv. There were washers and dryers on the first floor. The breakfast was made up of what looked like microwaveable omelettes and sausage, but you could make your own waffles.

Clean hotel; Close to beach

Posted 18-Jul-2016
Cons: The wifi.
My friends and I stayed for a long weekend here and we did not have a problem with the room. The only thing that was bad was the wifi. It did not work what so ever. Other than that it was great. I would recommend a beach view room.

Great stay

Posted 28-May-2016
It is an older hotel however that's what gives it it's charm. Perfect location near everything. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding after a great nights sleep. I love this place.

Cancelled at the desk

Posted 14-May-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs a complete renovation
Run down, and no rooms on oceanfront- not as advertised. Manager was able to cancel my room at the front desk.

Close to beach

Posted 05-May-2016
We stayed in an oceanfront room. The beach was a short walk through a dune. No beach chairs or umbrellas are provided. There are only two floors to this hotel. No real ocean view due to the almost two story sand dune behind the hotel. The beds are all size double with fair bed linen. It was quiet and clean. Staff was very nice. We saw dolphins from the beach.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

Posted 22-Apr-2016
Pros: The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Cons: The whole facility could probably use an upgrade. But considering its location in a beach community, it is more than adequate for enjoying the area.
Location: Days Inn is centrally located in the Outer Banks communities. It is close to shopping, restaurants, national parks, sports and beach activities.
The Days Inn offers a reasonably nice facility that backs up to the beach. It is close to most Outer Banks activities, shopping, restaurants, etc. The hotel is an older facility, but it has aged with charm and actually fits right into the beach bungalow motif. We were pleasantly surprised that when the desk person noticed my wife's limited walking ability, she voluntarily upgraded our upstairs king room to a downstairs suite with more convenient access - very thoughtful.
