Place smelled like mildew and urine. The Hostel sits on top of a nightclub so no sleep until 2am. This place caters to Asians only and if you are not of Asian decent you are made to feel unwelcome.
The hostel is conveniently located within walking distance from Shinsaibashi station as well as the shopping district. The free amenities and self-service coffee/tea/iced water were a big plus for my stay. Couple that with the comfy beds and friendly staff, I would definitely recommend a stay at The Dorm Hostel.
Great pod beds! The bathrooms were cleaned frequently. Love the Toto toilets with music to help give you privacy while doing your business. Complimentary coffee and tea was nice. Nice little kitchenette with everything you may need was handy. I have already recommended this place and would definitely stay here again myself if I ever return to visit Osaka.
