Very pleased with our stay, will stay again!
The hotel is 1 mile from the entrance to both Disneyland and California Adventure, and on the bus line if you are too tired to walk back.
The exterior looks old and slightly run-down, but the interiors are great. We stayed during their remodel/upgrade (March 2017.) The cabinets were brand new, the countertops, shower and all plumbing fixtures looked new too. The carpet may not have been brand new (from looking in rooms getting upgraded) but it was in great condition. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I heard that after the upgrade, all rooms will have a refrigerator. Currently microwaves are available for $5 per night.
Breakfast included the usual (cereal, cinnamon rolls, waffles, toast, oranges, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee, cocoa) but the waffles were the best I've ever had (Juana is the goddess of perfect waffles!) They have 4 toasters and 4 microwaves for guest use. (Since the breakfasts are mostly carbs with little protein, I suggest picking up some frozen sausages at the store; minimize the carb highs and lows while heading to the parks!)
The pool is heated year round; we were able to swim in March. The hot tub was very much appreciated after a long day of visiting the parks.
When we first arrived, parking was pretty difficult, but as the remodel progressed, more parking became available and seemed to be adequate.
