When is the best time to go to Odd Down?

Odd Down is a suburb of Bath, and the best time to visit is typically during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months. These periods offer pleasant weather, ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside and the historic city of Bath. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season, allowing for a more relaxed experience at popular attractions. The spring brings blossoming gardens, while autumn showcases beautiful changing leaves, making for picturesque walks and drives. Summer (July and August) is also a good time to visit, especially if you enjoy warmer weather and don't mind sharing the sights with more people. However, accommodation prices can be higher, and attractions can be busier. Winter (November to March) can be quieter and offers a different charm, particularly around Christmas with festive markets in Bath.

Top Odd Down Hotel Reviews

Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport

10/10 Excellent

"Convenient location. Comfortable"

Hampton by Hilton Bath City

8/10 Good

"This hotel was great for my weekend in Bath. The location was convenient for seeing the city and getting to and from the train station. A very quick walk to the spa and the Roman baths. The room is spacious and well maintained. The only negative I have is the breakfast. The food was stale and bland. But it was free so take it for what you will. I would definitely stay here again."

Hotel Indigo Bath by IHG

8/10 Good

"Great location, very boutique style hotel. The lighting in the room needs to be improved dramatically. It was dim and difficult to read a book. Minor issue, but the coffee cups provided were old and had significant stains, a real put off if using them for coffee or tea. The doors in lobby made significant noise that carried up through the second floor. Perhaps look at a way to dampen that."
