The original building is beautiful but we found the courtyard rooms comparable to premier inns. The gardens and grounds are lovely and plenty parking We enjoyed swimming in the pool but found the chemicals very strong and made our eyes sting Lovely breakfast in a gorgeous room

We stayed in september for 3 nights in room 142 the room was not as clean as it could have been the tv you could not get any information about any of the programs but the bed was very comfortable we did not use any of the extra facilities we had a meal in the main restaurant the service was excellent as was the food

Our room was beautiful and much bigger than expected! The only issue we had was how hot it was but the staff were lovely and gave us fans etc but the heat was overwhelming. Everything was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault it really, would love to stay again

Had a great stay here on a Sunday night. The weather was great so we were able to sit on the terrace. There was both a wedding and a family party during our one night stay which took up a lot of the outdoor space but we did manage to find some seating. Food was good and plenty of options

Had a wonderful stay at Tortworth Court. Room was upgraded to a junior suite due to 2 big events happening while we were there & new room was quieter. We enjoyed the events that were on while we were there. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant Sunday evening.

The main part of the hotel is lovely. Traditional, gloriously kept, beautiful, well manicured grounds and stunning spa. What was not so pleasant was the courtyard part of the hotel. Incredibly dated. Damp. Falling apart. Why was I re-fixing the tap attachments like a free tradesman?? The carpet was stained and smelled aged. The paint was peeling from the walls and the tv did not want to chrome cast. There was no fridge, no water in the room and no way of heating the room. Breakfast was delightful. The main restaurant is glorious. We had the most beautiful meal. The Atrium Bar’s food was subpar. The Library had fabulous cocktails which made for a gorgeous evening. Only to be banished to the courtyard once the bar closed. If you need a taxi to go anywhere, book an Uber. You will be paying £30 minimum regardless of the length of the journey. Far too expensive for what it was.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any request. . The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options. Overall, the service exceeded all expectations, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning in the future.

A cracking stay from start to finish. Fabulous country location. Beautiful gardens, spacious room (deluxe courtyard), well equipped bathroom. Dinner at the Atrium was friendly, prompt and nice food. Didn't use the on site spa but talking to others, definitely worth a visit. Breakfast plentiful and surprisingly fresh for a buffet. Overall a top stay and will definitely be returning.
