"Posh hotel, inconvenient to town, limited food/bev"
We choose this upscale hotel for an overnight stay in the lovely town of Bath and had mixed feelings afterwards. The good: the hotel staff was very attentive, and the room was well-appointed. Bed was comfortable. Gardens were lovely and picturesque, and the breakfast was superb. The bad: we were disappointed that the lounge and casual dining area was closed (and we were never told about this or offered any compensation!)... Because it is a 5-minute taxi ride to the center of town where the shoppes close by 6pm, we felt isolated after dark. However, the hotel staff was very nice and the room was well-appointed. Suggestion: the hotel should offer complimentary shuttles to the center of town a few times a day and in the evening. We should have received a discount because the bar/casual restaurant was closed during our stay ---- without prior notice.

"Vacation in Bath"
A number of small things compromised our experience at the Royal Crescent Hotel. 1. Wifi was problematic, often not working at all in the room. 2. Toilet didn't flush properly. 3. No coffee machine in the room. 4. Very limited shelf space in bathroom. 5. No good spot to have breakfast in the room. 6. At check in they staff took at one cent authorization on my credit card which triggered a fraud alert with my credit card company which triggered a block on my card which took 45 minutes to sort out. Too many little things for a 5 star hotel!

"Elegant hotel in Bath. We could stay there forever"
The Bath Priory is a beautiful hotel on the edge of town in Bath. It has stunning rooms with large bathrooms. The food is excellent in the Michelin starred restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The gardens out back are lovely. My favorite feature is the two living rooms with fireplaces and big arm chairs and sofas to curl up in on a rainy afternoon and read. The indoor pool was also very nice but not long enough for lap swimming. Would love to stay there for a week or two next time.

"Beautiful manor hotel"
We stayed for two nights in this beautiful manor hotel on the outskirts of Bath. The grounds are gorgeous, it reminded me of the movie Pride and Prejudice. They also have a few dog friendly rooms.

"Nice breakfast"
Comfortable hotel overall. I found the room stuffy and woke a few times hearing other guests opening/closing doors. Very nice breakfast. I felt checking out was rather slow.

"Helpful Staff, Great for price/location & parking"
I only stayed for one night, and unfortunately due to traffic in my travels across the other end of the country, I ended up arriving over an hour after check-in closes. Seeing here that check-in closes after 10.30pm, I telephoned in advance to let them know I was running late, and they arranged to put key in a key safe outside for me. The room was pleasant, clean, and quiet, perfect after several hours driving. The en-suite bathroom might have been small, but is what I would expect in converted historical buildings, and perfectly adequate (except there was nowhere to hang towels, no biggy). At breakfast I was well attended to, and for the purpose of my visit - an interview at the university, I found there was something I needed to print something out - the staff were very helpful in doing this for me. Full marks for service.

"Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds, great food"
Stayed there for a long weekend in September. The hotel main rooms are stunning and beautifully decorated. The grounds are lovely. The bedrooms are quirky and individual. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. We couldn't fault this hotel and we have stayed in hundreds.

"Central, five minutes walk from station "
Old Georgian house , breakfast good, in the centre and a few minute walk to the station. Only complaint was the noise from 11pm till around 3pm due to a nightclub one side and a bar/restaurant the other. Someone in the bar next door mentioned how noisy the rooms at the front were, and we had a room there, I asked the manager before we went to bed and was told nothing they could do about it as its out of their control but Sunday night was quiet. Noisy was an understatement as hoarded of drunken screaming young people carried on for hours, Subday night the same as it was Freshers week so again we were subjected to screaming drunks rights outside for hours as the club was obviously open for them. Spoilt the trip as we were only there two nights and had hardly any sleep both nights. staff very nice, separate bar attached with friendly bar staff. Rooms old fashioned and In keeping with the style of the house.
