My family and I (Mom, my son & myself ) stayed while in Jamaica for a funeral. Our accommodations were pleasant and highest mention to the Manager "Mr. Oliver R." as well as one of the Front Desk Personnel "Racquel" who went over & above to meet our needs. Food was adequate & had variety for our brief stay. Staff in general were Excellent. My only discontent was with the attitude of one front desk staff who worked in Raquel 's absence, she was unprofessional. My high point related to the fact that after paying for my mom to stay for 1 wk & my son & I for 2 days, my mom never stayed as transportation was an issue from St. Mary where my dad was to be buried and same for my son and I the first night. Mr. Oliver was understanding and willing to help us work out a slight adjustment as we were unable to benefit from what we paid for but needed to leave our belongings there. Unfortunately, the Accounting end did not appear to share the same understanding but we truly appreciated Mr. Oliver going over & beyond. Hotel is very clean. Wi-Fi was not publicized but there is a code and it is very available in the rooms. Not equipped with stores etc. so inconvenient for phone cards, personal small purchases etc. It is off the main road for location and can be intimidating to walk late at nights to get out to the main. Taxi's do not come in but if you are out in the town they will turn off to drop you there. Neatly tucked away from the hustle & bustle. Highly recommended & will stay again
Stayed in the executive/concierge level Jan.26-31 and was treated excellent. We are world travelers and use to top service at resorts. This was my first time staying at and all inclusive property and I wasn't let down. Whenever I had food that was not as hot as I would prefer I asked the waiter to ask the chef to prepare something fresh for me. Momo restaurant was great and the meal was prepared by Gary who was HILARIOUS. Also the concierge level beachside meal was excellent. Dolphin cove and AWE spa is a must. Make sure that u go and 1hr - 1 1/2 hr earlier to enjoy hydrotherapy treatment which is unbelievable. The only issue I had was the concierge/executive level stated that L' Occitane products would be given in the room. This is my wife favorite products so this was an plus for the room, but upon arrival only CHI products were available. When I questioned the bell man on entry to the room, housekeeping stated they didn't have the complete line but could issue me what they had available upon request. Hotel was about 20-30% occupied which I loved because your needs can really be met. We didn't take the timeshare presentation and we were not harassed during our stay.
We had a great time at Whispering Seas! The staff was wonderful. Our condo was great for four people.
Melanie and Lance (the owners) went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They even shopped for us. Lance's choices of wines for us were fabulous. Melanie was a great host! Melanie was extremely helpful in arranging taxis and entertainment for us. Our cook, Cynthia, was excellent. The entire staff was great.
The layout of the condo was great. Plenty of room for all four of us. Extremely clean and spacious.
The two swimming pools were heavenly. I especially enjoyed the salt water pool.
We cannot wait to go back next year!
"Amazing hotel, very laid back vibes wonderful time"
Quiet and secluded the hotel is awesome place for some time away from the world and truly enjoy the carribean paradise that Jamaica is. You'll never meet friendlier people that will welcome tourists with open arms. JUSt go there not enough words to describe the amazing experience i had.
(Very easy to find herbs if you need anything ask for Kelly by the beach, he'll take care of you real good )
The staff at this hostel are friendly, helpful, and get great advice on activities and places to visit. Shelly help us with finding the blue hole and encouraged us to go and explore. There is a board of local daily activities, morning coffee, fun hang out spots on the ground floor and roof. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone. If you're not into staying at a resort and spending ridiculous amounts of money while experiencing jamaica like the locals this is the place to go. You don't go to jamaica to stay at your hotel. I basically used this hostel as a ground point for my local adventures and am greatful for all the friendly advice.
