Following reviews I booked this 3,5 star hotel as it was only for 1 night however it did not meet expectation. I have had better 3 star hotels!
Communication with reception desk was ok yet cumbersome as there is complete misalignment between which hours there is someone to receive you. The hours were varying on papers/mail/website!
They reached out to me days in advance asking whether I would like room with balcony, after I said yes, I got confirmation that we would get room with balcony. however there was no balcony in sight in the room we got….
We got upon self check-in keys and a document mentioning that there is a certain colour key for parking to the keychain yet this key was nowhere to be found.
Reference is made to a parking location map however this attachment is not added to the checkin package. Thankfully they at least mentioned somewhere the address of parking place and another hotel guest just parked car so the gate was open.
From the pavement you enter the “hotel room” which was so weird. Basically you lie on bed and can look outside and people inside in case the curtains are open.
The bathroom is outdated and the hot water in shower comes from the heating system hanging on wall presumably.
The breakfast was moderate, not a lot of choices.
The only good thing was the location, close to the Nuremburg castle and city centre.
