Romm had a four poster bed which waas terbbibly creaky and made noise everytime you even moved a tiny bit in the bed. The room was really hot and the duvet was scratchy and very poor quality. At dinner one of the spoons that was on our table had dried food stuck to the back of it. The staff were really good but they have very little to work with.
Breakfast service was very good. Reception tried to charge me extra for breakfast and he didn't realise it was complimentary with the booking. Luckily I checked the bill and he finally took it out from the invoice.
It was a business trip and was paid by company however, they put the name of the room on the bill as ' Bridal suite' which caused embarrassment to me. It was 'superior Double' when I made the booking online.

Very small room, but okay for one night and reasonable price.
I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH MY STAY. THE ROOMS HAD GREAT VIEWS AND THE BEDS WHERE COMFORTABLE.THE SHOWER WAS A BIT SMALL IN THE ECONOMY ROOM.WE WHERE UPGRATED TO A LARGER ROOM W/A KING SIZE BED AND THAT WAS GREAT. THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT.THREE OUT OF THE FOUR FRONT DESK PEOPLE WHERE OVERLY NICE AND PLEASANT.ONE OF THEM (A MAN) WAS UNFRIENDLY AND RUDE, HE ALSO LOST AN EXTEAMLY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM SOME LONG LOST FRIENDS THAT WHERE MEETING US THERE. OVERALL I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. I WILL BE STAYING HERE AGAIN NEXT YEAR.
Bedrooms need updating; they look like they have not been redecorated since the 1970's. The bedroom pictures on this website are not representative of the 2 bedrooms I saw.
The lock broke on my bedroom door (another sign that the rooms need some attention) - the night porter was very helpful and broke in through the window at midnight! Within half an hour I was in a different room - unfortunately it did not have air-conditioning.

Overall a good nights stay. Handy to have a private car park at rear although it is a bit tight when the place is busy. the only thing that was not good was that the free wireless was not working properly. the helpful girl on the desk said she thought it had been fixed but obviously not. modern feel down stairs, food smelt nice ( but did=nt have time to try it ) and the rooms were clean and tidy and have everything in you could need. rooms were slightly cramped but not too much. would deff stay again .
After the long flight from San Francisco to Heathrow, the Best Western Lime in Northhampton was the ideal place to stop to recouperate before driving on to the North. It is far enough from the expensive hotels around Heathrow, and not too far that the fatigue from the flight made me unable to drive that far.
