The Manager's get-together on the Wednesday and Thursday evening of my stay was unexpected and a lovely touch - free drinks and cheese and nibbles for an hour. The staff...

We stayed at the Metropolitan whilst attending a Rugby World Cup Match at St James's Park. Only 30 min from the City Centre with frequent trains. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms modern and well equipped.

We only stayed 1 night for an open day at the nearby university but couldn’t fault them and if our son gets into this chosen uni we will definitely be using this hotel to stay for visits. The staff were very friendly and accommodating
