Loved our stay. A very family friendly, conveniently located hotel next to local shops, airport and only a short drive into Newcastle and the bigger shopping centre - metrocentre. We got a great deal for the family which included a large buffet style breakfast, just what you need before a long flight ...
We stopped over for 1 night and we're pleased with the choice. The staff were excellent in the main with nothing too much trouble. The only exception was the waitress in the restaurant, who was a bit brusque, not rude but not welcoming. Room and facilities were great and would happily stay again ...
I had a lovely, clean room with all amenities required. The staff are very friendly. Compared to other hotels I have stayed in, in Newcastle, Jesmond Dean House is the quiet. This is the first time I have stayed at a hotel in Newcastle and had a great nights sleep.
A lovely hotel right on the beach. Very peaceful but in the middle of nowhere. Rooms were excellent with lots of extras. My only gripe was the bed was too soft for me. Food and service excellent.
WW had a very pleasant stay here, very handy for visiting the university. Room wasn't the biggest, but comfortable and slept well.
Love this hotel. Never heard of chain before. Very professional and friendly staff. Breakfast first class and rooms stylIsh. Car park is across the road so bag with wheels needed and hotel style is a little on the dark side. Cool and chic but almost need a torch !! Great stay. :)
A short mid week break in Newcastle. The hotel's staff are its real strength. Receptionists to porters, everyone was pleasant and helpful. The room was fine, though we didn't like the split bathroom facility [shower and wash-hand basin in different areas/rooms]. A second chair would also have been ...
Whether you've been engaged for a while or you've just said yes, if you're planning your big day, there is a great choice of wedding hotels in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Whether you imagine your wedding day to be a grand event with hundreds of guests or a small, intimate affair with immediate family and close friends, there's a hotel to suit your perfect special day.
The first thing to consider - although it may seem obvious - is where you want to get married and in what kind of style. Do you prefer city weddings in chic surroundings, countryside weddings in grand houses, or seaside weddings on the rugged coast? Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the surrounding area can cater for all of these wedding styles, giving you a lot to choose from.
Another consideration is your guests and where they will stay - at least any who don't live locally. It's most likely that many will be travelling from other parts of the country and so may need a room for the night of the wedding and maybe the night before. You will either need to get married in a hotel with enough rooms for all guests or you would need to advise those invited of other hotels close by.
A lot of wedding hotels are licensed so that your wedding ceremony can be held there, so you can consider having your entire day in one place, which may make things very convenient for you and your guests. Alternatively, you can just have your reception in the hotel.
Many of the wedding hotels in Newcastle-upon-Tyne employ experienced wedding planners to assist you with organising the big day - everything from reception drinks to entertainment.
Planning your dream wedding can seem daunting, but finding the perfect wedding hotel in Newcastle-upon-Tyne certainly isn't! From here, you'll have everything you need to make it the most special day of your lives together.
