Cracker box in the middle of Times Square
Cute lobby and places to sit and visit. MAPLE restaurant next door overcharged, and watered down drinks and offers a mediocre breakfast. Room tiny. My knees hit the bathroom door when I sat on the toilet, and that was the deal breaker for me, to rub salt in the wound, toilet did not flush properly and shower dirty and had broken tile. Great location but substandard room maintenance. Decor of room black and ugly to nonexistent. For price would not reconsider. Note to holiday travelers: make a reservation for EVERYTHING IN TIMES SQUARE where you want to eat FROM BREAKFAST TO Pre and post theatre meals AND AFTERNOON COFFEE. Everything was completely booked including the restaurant associated with this hotel. We were asked to leave the breakfast area because we had not made reservations. Crowds are overwhelming.
