Pros: I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and would highly recommend it. Great breakfast options and relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: To increase the light in the elevator it's hard to see the floor levels with the low light.
Location: Morgan's Hotel is located right next to the JP Morgan Library and just a few blocks down from the Grand Central Terminal.
It was our first time in New York City and this hotel is located right in the middle of NYC. I would recommend this place due the quietness of the neighborhood and the easy access to Grand Central. The staff was very helping and polite to begin with and had great recommendations.

Pros: Very comfortable, friendly staff, great location
Cons: Minor.. Make numbers in elevator more legible!
Location: Near Grand Central, Lord and Taylor very closely. 15 min walk to Flatiron area, another 10'to the Village...
We found the place to be inviting, comfortable, . Staff were always there to make our stay more pleasant.mwe love the location because it's well situated for going up or downtown. We had a room facing the back which was super quiet. I would definitely stay there again !!

Hotel sold my room...

I booked a 3 night stay last week on a trip to NYC. Despite the fact i had booked and paid for my room in full via Expedia, i was furious, after a 4 hour flight delay to arrive at the hotel at 11pm and discover that not only had Morgans sold my room, but that the hotel was sold out. I specifically picked to stay i Midtown as its close by my office and when the receptionist informed me that he was happy to tell me (?!) that they had booked another hotel for me which was downtown, i was not impressed. Obviously i had little choice other than to accept their offer and go to the other hotel - on the promise that id transfer my whole stay there - instead of relocating back to Morgans again for a 3 night stay. When i arrived at the Roxy downtown i was informed that it was sold out for the next nights and i had to return to Morgans the following day. The reception took my card to hold 'security' deposit on check in, assuring me that my room was covered by Morgans. On leaving the hotel i noticed a charge on my Amex - from the Roxy - who had clearly charged me full price for my room. After considerable hassle and complaining the charge was cancelled, but it really was just one thing after another. I think its terrible customer service for a hotel to re-sell your room when you have already paid in full.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff couldn't have been better! The hotel rooms are designed and decorated so modernly. I spent two nights at Morgan's and can't wait to come back. The bed was comfortable and clean!

Location: Close to everything, but very quiet. You can walk to all major sites with a subway station close to take you downtown.
Clean rooms, friendly staff. We arrived & received complimentary water & drinks at the bar.

This hotel was extremely dirty and dingy. It felt like I was in an insane asylum. For the price, I was extremely upset and actually left early.

Anrief but delightful stay

Location: Not there long enough except to notice a great selection of reasonable restaurants a few blocks down and over to Lexington
the hotel is clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The 'free' breakfast was plentiful and good. The staff were universally friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel und Zimmer waren gut, der Service auch, aber leider ist das Frühstück und der Frühstücksraum unterirdisch schlecht. Es gibt genau einen Frischkäse und zwei Konfituren zur auswahl, die Tische sind genauso hoch, oder niedrig, wie die Stühle/Sessel.
