Die Zimmer sind sehr durchdacht eingerichtet und ungewöhnlich geräumig für NY

Anrief but delightful stay

Posted 17-Oct-2016
Location: Not there long enough except to notice a great selection of reasonable restaurants a few blocks down and over to Lexington
the hotel is clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The 'free' breakfast was plentiful and good. The staff were universally friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Posted 09-Oct-2016
Pros: 全部。
Cons: 只有check in 的時候會附上兩瓶水。我連住三晚,應該每天給我兩瓶才是。
Location: Point: Grand Central terminal, New York Public library. Goods buying: CVS and Duane reade is very close.

Location and Service

Posted 28-Sep-2016
Conveniently located near sights and business centers, it has the added benefit of being removed from the hustle bustle of the inner streets. The hotel feels like the ultimate boutique hotel, and the staff are extremely courteous. If you forget something or develop a sudden need for something from a local store, they even offer a service where they run to the fármaco or store to purchase what you need for a minimal fee. I was very surprised, they just charged it to my room afterwards. Very happy, looking forward to revisiting.

Perfect break

Posted 18-Sep-2016
An excellent hotel. Lovely, clean, comfortable room. Great location for both ends of Manhattan. Efficient staff - low key service that quietly provides everything you need. Breakfast was plentiful, in a lovely setting. Teas and coffee available all day. Go for a room above 10th floor - which gave us a peaceful sleep.

Amazing stay

Posted 18-Aug-2016
Pros: The service.
The room was just as described and I loved the toiletries. The breakfast was basic but it's quite good and the coffee is great too. Loved the comfortable bedding and the modern decor. It's in a great location central to midtown and I'd highly recommend it.

Beautiful boutique hotel with very attentive staff

Posted 08-Aug-2016
Pros: I enjoyed the boutique furnishings, and attentive staff.
Cons: The lighting in the elevator can be improved by installing brighter lights.
Location: The hotel is located in Midtown. Grand Central Station, the Empire State Building and Fifth Ave are all short walks away.
Upon arrival we were immediately upgraded to a new room and also allowed to check in early. Our room was clean, beautifully furnished and large for New York standards. The hotel was close to many attractions, and located right on Madison Ave.

Not what we expected

Posted 20-Jul-2016
Pros: Good location
Cons: Maintenance check prior guests arrival ( TV in living room did not work, bathroom sink clogged ) .
Location: Close to the Empire State and 5th Avenue. Bryant Park and Morgans Library are only 5 minutes away, Time Square is a 15 min walk.
I picked this hotel due to several good reviews and location. This was our anniversary trip. I e-mailed the hotel before arrival telling them about this special occasion asking for a room with a nice view which was confirmed. I had also received an e-mail that as an Expedia Elite guest I would be provided with priority check in and a welcome gift. Upon arrival I was told that my room category had sold out, but "great news" they could upgrade us to a juniorsuite. Arriving at the room we found out that both windows faced a grey wall just in front, no view, no natural light. No welcome letter or welcome gift either, At check in I was asked for my credit card, I asked if they had my prepaid reservation and the clerk said yes, this was just a formality for extras, that if we did not consume anything I would not be charged anything. I did have a drink at the bar , today I received the bill by mail and it was much higher than expected. I contacted the hotel in order to check what the extra fees were for and they explained that it was for breakfast, WIFI, newspaper etc. The advertisement says " Breakfast included" - well, it is not included, you actually pay for it. After arriving home I noticed that one of my silk scarfs was missing - I still had it the night before when I was packing, but iit was not in my luggage which I had with me all the time. Housekeeping did not find anything. I would not recommend this hotel, for this pricepoint you can find better options.
