Recently refurbished with 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living dining room & fitted kitchen. Balcony terrace off the master bedroom & community patio. Smart flat screen Sat TV, DVD. 2 delightful swimming pools to choose from. Excellent location & Excellent value! Free street parking nearby. Nerja! The jewel of the Costa del Sol. Probably the best climate in Europe! Nerja is a coastal town at the foot of the Almijara mountains with a long tradition of fishing and agriculture. The fishermen still pull their nets ashore on Burriana beach and fresh produce can still be bought from the doorways of local people´s houses. The weekly market (Tuesdays) attracts many traders and shoppers from all over the region and the town centre has a vibrant, friendly atmosphere with many lovely shops and tapas bars & restaurants. While Nerja bears no resemblance to the ´high-rise´ holiday developments often associated with the Costa del Sol, it is a popular destination for North European and Spanish tourists and offers all the necessary ingredients for a fantastic holiday - good road link to airport (45 minutes), a huge choice of restaurants to suit every budget, bars, cafes, nightclubs, beautiful clean beaches and of course lots of sunshine. A car is not necessary for a holiday in Nerja as everywhere in town is easily accessible by foot and there are good local bus, taxi and coach services Nerja is a wonderful contrast between a sleepy fishing village with a fantastic lively atmosphere in the evenings ideal for families, couples and friends. Nerja has five wonderful sandy beaches offering sunbed & parasol hire, watersports, pedaloes, tapas bars and restaurants. The famous Cuevas de Nerja and the picturesque Frigiliana are only a short distance away. It’s always a lovely place to stay.
