The cabin is very peaceful and has everything you need. We enjoyed hiking at Devil's Den State park and Lake Fort Smith. The only thing we did not realize that if more then 2 people stay it is $30 more a night for each extra person, we were not aware of this, as we had a friend join us last minute for our trip and read it in the welcome book. And the view- glorious sunset over the mountain. Convenient & peacefully quiet area, just perfect. I will warn that the stairs are steep if you have bad knees or small kiddos. Drives to and from the cabin are lovely - tight, steep, and winding dirt rock roads up and around a small mountain. The privacy is nice, and the view of the neighboring mountains is a beautiful sight to behold. The cabin is cozy and quaint. The layout is nice and practical. The front porch swing is very nice to use. I think extending out the side of the porch to give more foot room while swinging would be a very nice addition. The fire pit out back is nice and useful. It was nice to see the deer out and about in the mornings and evenings. The price was more than fair and the hosts did an excellent job maintaining the home.
