Well one our door didn’t open on the outside you literally could push it open without the key…. The room itself was nice bed was comfortable and the water was good and overall the stay was great just the door needed to be fixed
This was the most run-down ratty room I have ever stayed in. The door was barely hanging on the hinges. Daylight was visible on all 4 sides of the door. The toilet seat was not connected to the toilet. A lounge chair was nasty and looked like a science experiment gone bad. I will say the staff was very friendly. I. Will sleep in my car on the street before I stay there again.
room was not ready. could not check in, something wrong with the locks. Shantell Jackson was great!!! when we first arrived she was very helpful with directions to our destination that night and what restaurants were good in the area!!. However when we were finally able to check in later it was not Shantell at the counter, it was another lady.
we decided to stay somewhere else. Did not want to come home at midnight and not be able to get into our room
Rooms where definitely out dated and need some repair and love. Parking and staff where excellent.
Walkable to everything

Fair price for older property in historic area that is showing some wear. The bed was clean and comfortable. The other furnishings were quite worn. Walkable to cool entertainment options nearby. Breakfast was pretty much what you find in most two or three star hotels. What you give up in aesthetics you keep in your wallet AND can spend on the great restaurants a few blocks away .
We had been driving 14 hour and just needed to take break. The location was easy off/on the freeway.
The property is beautiful however, the rooms have not been maintained. Our room had black mold above the AC, in the shower, and along the ceilings.
The ceiling showed moisture blisters.
NOW, lets chat about the good things which are just as important.
The beds are amazing, best night sleep Ive had in weeks.
Oh and the shower water pressure. WOW!!! It was outstanding, a standing massage.
In spite of the mold. I would return again for the bed and shower.

I liked how it looked on the outside, the inside need repair work, but the rooms were clean. They ran out of food with more than an hour left for dining area to close, no meat what so ever, the front desk receptionist was very nasty toward the customer before me, so i kept things short and sweet, wanted to get out of her way quickly.
The place was very old, the rooms were musty smelling, hair in the tub, bathroom door did not close and as a result people were kicking it and it was black from shoe marks, just not our usual stay. The pool was ok the staff was friendly, breakfast was good.
The only upside to this property was the amazing service of there front desk, and the amazing restaurants in the area. Half the rooms were actually falling apart, like the room next to ours that had some of the roof collapsed. The place smelled of mildew and had mold in the shower.
When we arrived we were told that because the cleaning staff hadn't showed up that day that there were no clean rooms for us. They were able to find a room, but the door wouldn't lock. Then the next day something malfunctioned in the door, and it wouldn't open. The maintenance person wasn't there, so we had to wait for over an hour in our pajamas. This caused us to miss one of our activities. Then, when it was fixed, we had to move to another room. The continental breakfast was great, the pool was good, and the manager was very nice.

One and Done
I had to reinforce my door with the chair because it could be kicked in easily. I chose this location because of the close proximity to Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Will I revisit? No, because of the sketchy inhabitants, the outdated rooms and analog TV.
The front desk employee was friendly. Besides that I would not recommend this property to anyone. Other guests were very loud sitting on the stairwell drinking alcohol using profanity I brought it to the front desk employees attention he said if it continued that he would move me to another room.
The rooms are dirty. Mold in closet and around certain areas of room. Outdated and stained curtains. Floors look as though they have never been cleaned. Entry door looks like it was kicked in at one time. The only saving grace was the water was hot and great pressure. The dining area was clean for breakfast and the staff was helpful. The building needs a new owner and a complete overhaul of the entire place. Convenient location to downtown Mobile
