During this time, the pool, spa, and kiddie pool will be closed. Guests will still be able to enjoy the 4 Sandestin Resort Pools: the pool at Bayside, the Linkside pool on Audubon Drive, the Phil Hummel Aquatic Center near the corner of Heron Walk Drive and Baytowne Avenue, and the Beach House pool that is located at the beach access on the south side of the resort.\*\* The bright and airy kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar for additional seating. The condo itself was just perfect. The condo was spacious and clean. I would note that you need to bring your own trash bags and toliet paper. The view was amazing and could hear the waves from the Gulf at night. It was a quick elevator ride to the amazingly warm pool too. It was clean and had ample space for our family of 4\. We especially enjoyed the large balcony that overlooked the pool and ocean. If you like to cook, I recommend bringing your own dish soap, sponge, dish towels and paper towels as these are not provided. Otherwise the kitchen was appointed well. ##### Miranda L. It's great! Big balcony, twin beds for kids, and a super comfy king bed in the master bedroom. Being on the 5th floor is high enough to get the really cool view of the ocean & beach. Convenient kitchen with necessities & maid service. We have stayed in Westwinds on several occasions, and will likely come back again! We love the area and section of beach on the Emerald Coast! Some of our favorites are Baytowne Wharf, Donut Hole, Go-Carts, Fudpuckers, Boshamps, Boathouse Oyster Bar, and the Destin Harbor Boardwalk (the zip line is cool). This specific condo was more than adequate for our family of four. The furnishings are clean, and everything is in good working order. As this condo is managed by the Sandestin community, check-in is more laborious and restrictive but only a minor inconvenience. We've stayed in other condos operated by private owners and found those units tend to be a little easier (door codes) and more elaborate with their amenities (beach chairs, golf carts, sundries, etc.) We have no problem recommending this unit to others, and we truly enjoyed our time! ##### Anthony B. We have stared at this exact property 3 of the last 4 years with no issues what so ever. This time it was a disaster. When arriving we noticed 3 issues right away, the front door wouldn’t shut all the way, the back door was broke and wouldn’t lock and the ice maker was damaged on the fridge. Maintenance quickly fixed everything. Day 2-3 we had no cable in the room, spoke to someone at the service desk but ended up calling Cox, wasting 2 hours and getting it fixed. Day 3-4-5 the shower curtain rod in the bathroom to the left fell, we eventually fixed it ourselves. Day 5-6-7 the dryer had a drum issue inside and made a sound like nails on a chalk board when running it. They came, looked at it and had to return the next day. They replaced it but within 24 hours the same noise. It’s not a noise you want to hear for hours when you are on vacation. It became so bad we just decided we would do our laundry when we got home. This is a very nice condo and location, I really hope the owner puts the money to have some things improved I did see they redone both showers with new tile, but the same shower heads, that didn’t make much sense. If these upgrades are made the view and location are amazing, but by far the worst vacation experience we have ever had having to constantly wait on maintenance to come visit our room. ##### Mike C. Our room was located on the 5th floor viewing the pool with the beach in the background. Our room was at the end of the hall giving us a large semi-wrap around balcony and quick access to the stairs (if you wanted to use for extra exercise). The resort tram was great. I parked my car when we got there and never needed it again until we left the resort. We managed to keep our rambunctious boys entertained even with it raining all 3 days of our trip. Overall great experience and will definitely schedule another trip in the near future. ##### Ashley B.
