The cottage has great character which has been paired well with modern comforts. Honeysuckle Cottage is a mid-terrace property dating back to the late Victorian era. The cottage has recently been refurbished throughout to provide a high standard of holiday accommodation for up to 4 guests in two double bedrooms. A futon bed is available as an additional single in the master bedroom. Sleeps up to 4 guests (+1) in 2 double bedrooms Easy access to all village amenities including restaurants, pubs, tea rooms and shops Cosy cottage in quiet village location Fabulous area for walking the coastal paths, open moorland or woodland trails Wood-burner in the dining area Bed linen and towels provided Wifi, heating and electricity included Outdoor courtyard with seating from the kitchen Arrive from 4 pm Depart by 10 am The cottage is accessed via footpath which is shared with the other cottages is the terraced row. The entrance door opens into a hallway which looks into the sitting room with large, comfortable corner sofa. It's open-plan through to the dining are and the kitchen is to the rear of the property, with an external door that opens onto the small courtyard with outside table and chairs. The stairs from the hallway lead to the first floor with one large double bedroom (with king-size bed) and one smaller double bedroom (double bed). The bathroom has a bath, separate walk-in shower, plus toilet and hand basin. The kitchen has modern appliances including an electric oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher. There is also a wood-burner in the dining area; a basket of logs, kindling, and matches will be provided in the cooler months to get you going. Further logs can be purchased from the Hardware Shop in the village. Please note - take extra care if you are using the wood-burner as it gets VERY hot, our recommendation is that the property is unsuitable for children under 5. Lovely cottage
Very spacious cottage for three people. Quiet but close to the high street’s amenities. Lack of parking outside the cottage made for a challenging unloading/loading experience in the midst of a torrential downpour.

Porlock
Great property but difficult to find. Little or no instructions for equipment ie dishwasher, cooker, tv, underfloor heating. Shower made a loud whistling noise . Lovely cottage but lack of above made holiday more difficult.

5/5 Excellent

Perfect for our short stay
Honeysuckle Cottage has some high quality fittings and furniture and is very well presented, clean, and quite charming. We didn't want for a thing and were very comfortable for our short winter stay. It is pointed out that you can't park near the cottage and that is a bit of a nuisance when it comes to unloading and loading the car, but we always managed to park a short walk away so it wasn't too much of a problem. We would definitely go back to the cottage again.

5/5 Excellent

Perfect location
Fantastic, comfortable cosy cottage. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Location is excellent, just a short walk to pubs and restaurants but the cottage is away from the main road and very quiet. Worth mentioning that the second bedroom has a futon bed. We were staying with my elderly parents so gave them the master bedroom and we took the futon. Have to say I wasn’t sure at first about sleeping on the futon but actually found this very comfortable. But my parents would have struggled. Porlock is a great base for exploring Exmoor and this cottage is highly recommended. All in all a great stay!

Lovely cottage in pretty little town
Great for exploring Somerset and North Devon coast and Exmoor, plenty of places to eat within v short walk.
